Agree and they do not run shapes only side to side if the winger cuts back inside that would hold the defender and possibly allow them to make a break. Also the Bula sweeps are solid and if the centre or second rower ran back against the angle that would at least create something for the defender , more than likely a shepherd from us but something different not side to side.
Looking forward to a break in 4 weeks and then get hopes up again in Feb 2025.

Good man although interesting story about him transferring to NZ Warriors years ago,as part of a plan to help beat his poker machine addiction when at Canterbury. Burnt a lot of his money !
Had the desired effect and he’s come out the other side in a reasonably good place.

For the record, Bula is rarely in position, his only defence at the back is when he chases a break.
