3-2-1 3 2 1 vs Knights

3 Doobie
2 Api
1 Twal/Turuva

Pole weakest link every single week. Entire pack is firing except for Pole.
Herbert well done
Makasini is way out of his depth in first grade at centre
Madden is a terrible defender

Our forward pack has NEVER dominated a team like they did today. Not even close.
Pole.

16 runs, 169m in 45 minutes.

And the fastest play of the ball in the team.

Weird take.

Playing longer minutes - 48min today and 126m is fair enough
Not having the same impact as everyone else in the pack.
Just has not taken the leap yet to where he could get to.
And still got the silly penalties/errors in his game.

NRL.com has him 45 minutes & 169m

Only Terrell May & Twal had more metres in the forwards- and May played 68 minutes, Twal 77 minutes.

Pole was massively involved through the opening period of the game- not surprisingly, when we jumped to an impressive lead.

1 error today. No penalties. Weird day to point him out.

3 Api - Awesome game
2 Bula - Was really impressed by him in attack, and safe under the high ball as always
1 Twal - Another solid performance

Was disappointed by Makasini. He has been so quiet, and I was hoping with us on the front foot he would finally come out of his shell. I think he needs some time in cup to build confidence, as imo he has been our weakest link the last couple days, and seems a bit shell shocked out there.

I agree 100% re Pole. He regularly dops the ball and can be lazy in defense. At least, he is starting to get rid of the compulsive step/ hop before the line and running straighter and harder but, to be honest, I'd rather start with Sione when he is fit.

Give him a weeks rest then bring him back on the wing, he is a winger not a centre.

A big difference this year is that FINALLY we have some good depth, everyone stepping up to fill an injured player's spot is doing a great job, in Tino Tavana 's case a BRILLIANT job. If Tino had played I believe the score line would have been even better.

Along with the depth the sheer fitness of the boys, outlasting their opponents, dominating a game gives an even bigger boost when it comes to late stage of the halves. Our boys were looking fresh whilst the Knights players were gassed toward the end of both halves.

Lovely to see the club sitting equal first, slightly more satisfying than seeing Melbourne sitting on 13th 😆😂
