3-2-1 3 2 1 vs Storm

3. Taylan May, out and out - 3 points. Best centre we've had in YEARS. He is a goer.

2. Alex Seyfarth - he came on and he got busy. I know half of yas dislike him... but he is a hitter.

1. Heath Mason, know he had some issues but he tried hard and didn't give up... think there's a player in there, not sure what position.

Lots of negatives amongst all that.
Defence was poor.

Bunty & Hope are genuine reserve graders and we need to make some squad adjustments moving forward. We can discuss in another thread.
I've bagged Seyfarth ferociously over the years, but never on effort. I thought he was enormous today.

1. Mason

The game was lost after the first 20; momentum, 6 agains, the lop sided penalties, and the Storm having all the 50/50s.
Our boys did not turn it up.
Some showed they are going to make it - a couple revealed they are reserve quality only
The five out really summed up the result.

I agree, I thought Mason did alright. He definitely put in and I liked his cut out to Laulilii for the try. Unfortunately, went himself on the last twice.

bonus points for this little black duck ,walking out the door at the 15 minute mark , started with less enthusiasm then last week .
First 3 sets of 6 basically sums up the outcome

What an outstanding performance from Taylan May in a horribly outclassed team!

Mason was pretty good as was Luke Lualili'i.

It's time for Latu Fainu.
