Finally got to see the game yesterday and get my two bob worth.

1 Benj (Still evolving as a player, incredible)


Mentions: Twal, Big Luce, Walters (for his 3rd ever game playing 80 in a new team was pretty good)

Disappointing: I though Musgrove would be like a caged animal. Also, to a lesser extent Garner, though he is surely missing his halfback.

Loved what I saw from Musgrove ...the motor will get bigger and better ..give him time

Yeah he got gassed fairly easily. Also there would have been a lot of emotion for him and that probably drained as well.

Do you think that pass to Jennings was catchable? If you look at his highlights reel you will see all passes hitting him on the chest. So not much chance of it sticking with a full can of hair lacquer.

That works both ways. Jennings drops the ball as he is about to go over the line and he gets within two inches to ground the ball. Potential for 2 tries.

Both the Leilua boys failed to ground the ball with no one around them. Another possible try. As to the “ gifting “ the 14 points, Thompson certainly gave them 6 when he dropped the ball. As for the penalty try he was unlucky in as much as the ball turned sideways instead of going over the dead ball line. Instinct took over and the rest is history.

To blame Nofo for 2 points is a bit over the top. He was very nearly the mom and even the comentators doubted that Merrin would have gone even close to tackling him.

Our team played very well. Let’s give credit where it is due.

Elijah Taylor was fantastic, as was LL(and all the forwards really) but thought that was Twal's best running game ever. Hope to see Musgrove get more game time this week.
