Such a pity we lost Brooks. Our left edge didn’t play to its potential. Doueihi would have crossed at least once. While Brooks is out we should have Billy feeding the left side.

Finally got to watch the game properly last night.

3 - Marshall. That would have to have been one of the most controlled displays I have ever seen by a half since the inception of this club. Smart but still dangerous.

2 - Twal. Immense effort from the pack all round, but Twal looked more dangerous than previous. Constantly got over the advantage line. 161m for 15 runs and it was all cart work, bugger all kick return metres. 36 tackles also in 52 mins.

1 - Walters. Had a couple of handling errors, but I felt was sharp from dummy half which allowed the forwards to dominate. Settled into the role very well. Made a couple of brilliant tackles on our line as well.

ET, Nofoaluma, Lucy and Aloiai all unlucky to miss out on points.

Disappointing: I though Musgrove would be like a caged animal. Also, to a lesser extent Garner, though he is surely missing his halfback.

On returning the ball he ran behind Benji gifting Lorax an easy 2 points.

I think it was about 5 mins after half time, we were trailing 12-6 at that point I think?

Overall Nofa had a great game, no doubt about that. I’m just putting the win into some kind of context. Very admirable of you to defend Nofa though.
