All 6 wins last year came in 3 groups of 2, and this is our second shot this year.

Coming up against the worst possible side to play, especially after they’ve been beaten the week before. I’m afraid we’ll have to wait a little longer for our 3 in a row. We’ve improved as a team for sure, but I don’t think we’re quite there yet.

Since you’ve got you finger on the analysis pulse Tucker. Query for you, how many teams this year have recorded 3 in a row to this point in the season?
And a side question to that, if 3 in a row is a yard stick on consistency of a side; is 3 in a row twice (ie dropping the forth game better than winning 5 or even 4 in a row in terms of being a threat in the competition.

That’s interesting. A lot of teams have won more than 4 in a row and not made the finals.

In reverse I wonder if there is anything in teams that have lost 3 or greater in a row?

Broncos = 1 x run of 3
Bulldogs = 1 x run of 6
Cowboys = 1 x run of 4
Dolphins = 1 x run of 3
Dragons = yet to do it
Eels = yet to do it.
Knights = yet to do it
Panthers yet to do it
Rabbits = yet to do it
Raiders = 1 x run of 5
Roosters = yet to do it but can if they win round 11
Sea Eagles = yet to do it
Sharks = yet to do it
Storm = yet to do it
Titans = yet to do it
Warriors = 2 x runs of 3. Second run of 3 is still alive going into round 10.
Wests Tigers = yet to do it but can if they win round 10.

So only 6 clubs have done it so far with 2 more possibly joining them soon. Very unpredictable competition this year.

Usually after 2 wins, we are full of confidence and think we can break the hoodoo. Then we get smashed. This time, many of us aren't confident, so maybe we jag a win.
