Apart from the Penrith game, last night was a surprise. Points came wave after wave.
The better teams are just more consistent than us.
We could be a consistent team with a couple of Matterson standard players added to the mix.
And that's nothing we already didn't know.

3. Momo...under immense pressure, he kicked conversions superbly. We 'finally' have a 'quality' goal kicker and his general play was pretty darn good as well.
2.Thomo...100% safe at fullback.
1 Brooksie...'maybe' the Brooksie knockers will finally stop the knock.
If the Grub can stay on the field we will finally get some much needed $$$$ value out of him.
Realistically the 3,2,1 should go to the 'team' for a great team effort.

Very close between Brooks and Benji, - Brooksie had 101 points and Benji 97. It's been clear for most of this year that if we are going to lay on points it comes from these two guys, and it was beautiful to watch them play like that **together**.

Since round 17 Nofo has 9 points, Brooks 7 and Benji and Matto 5 each - if a few guys had been more consistent since round 1 then the race would have been much tighter than it's ended up but the truth is we had one player during the middle of the season and he will rightly be the forum's player of the year.
