Mate it’s recruiting as much as it is coaching, they bought very astutely I have said it before. Three hard head Melbourne forwards equals instant toughness and good culture. Two young talented halves equals expression in attack. Chuck in some QLD firepower in Tabuai - Fidow. They will drop away a bit because they still lack a bit of class in their backs but they will finish higher than us. We’ll be flat out winning one game in the next month. There’s just mediocrity built in at our club. They built it into the CoE walls too. Same muppets who have got us to this place are still stearing.

At times today I felt sorry for the players today. The pressure on them is immense now and they have no track record of coping with that. The club is a ruin from the top down, we are already more interested in reserve grade. It is the players out there sucking, no doubt it's on them too but what about the same board, the same CEO, a chair who has never, ever been wrong (just ask him) a coach who has failed for years - we even know our next bloody coach and he is a greenhorn who refused the clubs previous offer of a respectful send-off game about 18 months ago.

He has to go, because the board won't, the coaches will spend a couple of years backstabbing each other now before anything is done, and the players look genuinely confused.

What pressure? The players from last year have a big track record of coping. The new players are playing shit like the rest of them.

I'm sorry but that's rubbish. They have had a long preseason to get their crap together. They look like they havnt trained together at all.

By the way who cares about that part anyway. I want to see aggression in defence and attack. They are just walkovers. Pathetic.

Yeah, but its the type of player the club consistently employs.
Joey Leilua, raiders happy to lose him.
Joffa, broncos happy to lose him and TPJ.
Packer, Mbye, Blair Klemmer, Laurie, Reynolds, Api, of questionable character so we make him captain.

We buy are the fish john west reject.

Pascoe is intertwined none the less. Nofo, Brooks, Pascoe. Been here for years and the team is a constant joke on and off the field.

Was starting to hope we had turned the corner with our key signings this year but with the Bateman delay , API and PAPI no go and how the team has played against some ordinary opponents at the fortress , I am struggling to see when I can wear my colours this year . We were never getting I to the top 8 but we wanted to see vast improvement. Decent attack, aggression in attack and defence. A far as I can see
Klemmar is the only one having a go
The rest are duds. That includes API and Papalii. Lead by example jeez.
