5 tackle set

I am not sure that even if we had a 10 tackle set in the second half would have of been of use today. We still would have found a way to lose.

This will be interesting to follow.

Either the Nrl will issue an apology or they will bury this like a Souths player on a bender.

Happening a lot this year. Refs should be sent back to kindergarten. Seriously though, we cost ourselves the game today.

Honestly I'm over the referring in this game in general. I get its a hard gig but the consistency is atrocious and simple things like this are disgraceful. The ruck and ten metres is a huge problem. The refs don't even have a look next to them to see if the players are onside. I normally watch every game over a weekend, but i do find myself getting frustrated during other games of footy just watching the decisions. Its a turn off for the game.

Not to mention commentary. How did that NZ commentator even get a job?

Henry Perenara was also involved in the 7th tackle set in the Cowboys final a couple of years ago, he was dropped after that.

If you mean halligan I'm not even sure he speaks English when he is commentating, or if it's some pidgin variant….

My money is on an apology but the ref to keep his job

Wests Tigers Denied Final Chance With Five Tackle Set

Wests Tigers were on the wrong end of the result and a crucial five tackle set against the Raiders. With just three minutes to play and trailing by two the Tigers were needing a score to regain the lead but they were denied a final attack due to an officiating error.

A five tackle set late in the game helped secure victory for the visitors. The Green Machine scored a late try through Rapana however it shouldn't have been the case as they were given the ball in a handover after just five tackles.

yes we were duded there but what can you do…not the reason we lost...

No it wasnt the reason we lost but it was a huge error by the officials and did deny us a some opportunity to try and salvage a last minute win.

As far as referees mistakes go its a pretty epic failure so i wouldnt talk it down too much.

I reckon in a mad scramble after a high kick in that wind we're probably a 33% chance to score a try or get a repeat set in better field position tbh so it was actually a pretty costly mistake.

Havent seen the game yet but it sounds like we were worse than the refs

Don't bother watching this one Ink.. Watch the first half.. As for the rest it isn't much fun to see your team give away the second biggest lead in Wests Tigers history.

Well, tackle count showed 4 and he called out last tackle
I was like WTF but the commentators said nothing

Whilst on Refs, endless times i saw raiders get away being inside the 10 or going early
Ah well, all done and dusted now sadly
