6pm presser

Well I'm not saying he did or didn't mean what he meant, I'm just saying he dodged the question. All he had to say was "yes."

I hope Blocker's big news is that we're being privatised.

I tell you what, flicking between MMM & 2GB on the drive home from the game and hearing Blockhead laughing and joking with hadley & bozo about the entire situation didnt really go down too well

Isnt this idiot on the coaching staff?

Was thinking the same thing before. Either he's a prick or he's inwardly happy about something. Maybe Blocker is taking over lol.

Not sure if he's on the coaching staff, but he is certainly an idiot. Get rid of him and others living in the past and a lot will be solved. The sense of entitlement of some of this lot is sickening. Yet, through it all, Mick Potter handles himself with dignity and class.

I heard the same broadcast .. Blockers a dickhead if you ask me .. He can't even string a sentence together . What hope do we have with this moron on board ??

I'm not sure that Potter and Farah are best mates, but they were definitely agreeing with each other at the post-match conference. There was no resentment there.

He was a great prop, but has the mind of a 12 year old. Lost a lot of respect for him when he said that Farah wasn't "origin tough".

Will there be legal action against media?

Seems this was an attempt to make the board members look bad just before independent guys come in.

They could release Smith's report and show that the players totally backed Potter. If that was the case but somehow I dont think this will happen.

True. I don't think I've seen Mick be as free in his interviews. He was certainly showing a bit of passion and nodding a lot in agreement with Robbie

So what would happen if Farah came out and said that he backed Potter personally, and then the Board decided to sack Potter for someone else. Then you would have the new angle that Farah doesn't want anyone else for the job, while as captain, he would have to work directly with whoever the Board brought in. I am happy with Farah's answers.

Does it matter if they back him? In all honesty the players themselves havent fulfilled the brief, hence their inability to perform at a professional level negates their ability to judge another at the same level.

My take was that their body language towards each other was positive, they were on the same page and supported each other. I read it as genuine.

My gut feeling is Farah does have reservations about Potter. I believe Tallis. Why would he lie about this? however I question his motives for releasing a private conversation from over 12 months ago!!

Farah has been very silent about Potter until today. His silence was defening I titally agree with Tallis there. When he basically was under fire from all angles after the game and had to come out and say something to quell the raging fires.

I reckon Robbie doesn't rate Potter that highly. However I think he would be hurt that Mick is coming under such fire. Farah puts in his best week in and week out to try and lift this club and so does Potter.

However there is now a mis trust there. I don't think it can be repaired.

Haha. Good response. Why does this shot always draw out the loonies?

Neither side is covering themselves in many glory here
