A Confession

These days I find myself watching only Wests Tigers games in the NRL on the tube.
I just don't have the time to watch any other game Father.
Please forgive me.
But life is too short. :sign:

And here I was wondering why the football gods weren't smiling on us

Lift your game AHX

I used to be a Rugby League [This word has been automatically removed] 20 years ago or thereabouts, I worked shift work and couldn't wait to have a day in front of the Tube, it was Wednesday or Thursday I think, about 12 hours of back to back games.
I also used to enjoy finding the Pommy games on Fox and then there was the NSWRL Cup games and on the odd occaision the QLD Cup games, 24/7 Rugby League was my passion but these days it's just Wests Tigers.

at the beginning of the season i watch practically every game, but then you get spoiled and as long as i can watch the tigers games, i don't really care that much. if i have nothing else to do i will definitely watch a game without wests - and by the way, the last two Warriors games i have seen have been great! - but usually only if it is a bit of a blockbuster game.

unfortunately for me i am single at the moment (…or is that fortunate?!!!), but when i have a gf, i always tell her that i dont care about missing the tigers game live as long as i can watch it when we get home (being in perth no one will ever tell me the score anyway!).

my confession is that being west australian born and bred, i also watch afl...but my level of interest is pretty much that i like to watch the eagles games in much the same level as my "non tigers nrl blockbusters"....

okay, my real confession is that i like to watch the english premier league....

okay, my REAL real confession... no wait. i'd better stop....

Like 99% of WT forumers , the WT'ers have always made my pulse rate go ape.
But I've found other teams over the last decade or so..so predictable. rolling through the sets and putting up a bomb on the last bores me. This year I've found most teams are more diverse. And the forwards passing game of late has great. Takes me back to the 80's.
Tonight's Souths V Manly was a cracker. Burgess running at Stuart was great footy. Even the Waratahs in Rugby Union have realised that with so much choice in media these days. Not only do you have to win, but you have to win in an entertaining way to capture a big audience.
The WTs are always going to play an entertaining game. But they just have to win a couple more games a season and our fans would increase dramatically.

Wests Tigers Rule!
What the fv<k am="" i="" talking="" about?="" wests="" tigers="" are="" a="" basket="" case,="" (thanks="" wt="" board)="" but="" support="" them="" anyway.<br="">Go Tigers!!</k>

In our household the footy takes precedent regardless of who is playing. Having won the work tipping comp. the last 3 years running, it pays to watch a bit of the other teams. My second favourite team is the Warriors and aren't they doing well  must admit unless its the tigers playing, we hardly watch the delayed Friday night game. Too many ads.
