Dally M Leaders After 5 Rounds:
Aaron Woods - 7 points
Ben Matulino (Warriors) - 7 points
Ben Hunt (Broncos) - 6 points
Chris Sandow (Eels) - 6 points
James Maloney (Roosters) - 6 points
Blake Austin (Raiders) - 6 points
Brett Morris (Bulldogs) - 6 points
Johnathan Thurston (Cowboys) - 6 points
Greg Inglis (Rabbitohs) - 5 points
Mitchell Pearce (Roosters) - 5 points
I know it's very very early in the season but could Woodsy push to become the first forward ever to win the Dally M award? Everytime we win I think he will automatically get at least 1 point because if we've won it would come on the back of his metres and tackle count. Especially with the way JT has us now playing - our game is more about our forwards than backs. Being out in the origin period will hurt him but Inglis, Thurston etc. will be in the same boat.
It will be interesting to follow this as the season goes on.
