Aaron Woods fit to pounce for Tigers
Christian Nicolussi From: The Daily Telegraph February 18, 2011 12:00AM
WESTS Tigers fans should jot down the name Aaron Woods.
The 19-year-old has been held in high regard by coach Tim Sheens and former assistant Royce Simmons for a few years, but injury has kept him from realising his potential. The prop has been named on the two-man bench for tomorrow's trial against Parramatta and is considered a real chance to force his way into the NRL.
Teammate and fellow giant Keith Galloway, who will start up front with Junior Moors against the Eels, said Woods had plenty of potential and oozed talent.
Galloway himself has enjoyed an injury-free off-season and has set his sights on another Blues jumper.
