Aaron Woods - Signs with Bulldogs 2018 - Sharks 2018 [Official]..

I fail to see why this has drawn out this long. His price isn't tied to the Sydney property market, it's not going up by the day. It alsmost seems like its a deliberate ploy to keep the club in the media being constantly painted as dysfunctional. Trying to get a "poor Woodsy" party going. Then once he's signed with the dogs a few pieces about how much he loves the tigers and he didn't want to leave and presto, he's smelling like roses.

Maybe even a chant…..

The fans are bordering on Hate

No way…. If you put on a Wests tigers Jersey then your my hero regardless of what your doing next year... If your a real fan you'll sit back and cheer the team on

I disagree with this. If they would've come straight out and say I'm looking elsewhere for next year fans would've copped it sweet. Instead they've dragged this on and blamed everybody but themselves and treated the fans like garbage. This shows he cares nothing for the fans and they have every right to boo. They pay the money for these guys all they deserve is respect which wasn't given.

Yeah yeah yeah they didn't contact the club on the deadline day honestly and I don't see any other players in the comp coming out and say there looking else where… there full grown men making decisions about there future... if that's how it went down so be it .. you can't say the club wasn't being pushy by putting a deadline to start with.... Anthony Milford hasn't signed yet and don't here one thing about him and he doesn't have till Friday to make a decision no other players in the comp do... Hey this is just my opinion so take it with a grain of salt I'm angry there going but in the end things happen that's life and yes they do pay there money they can do as they please

The difference was that our retention of them was in the media every day and the club needed to end as the speculation was clearly hurting the team's performances.

The ckub made the right decision. The boys were nevrr going to sign with us, no matter what they now claim.

Will we need a box of Kleenex for his soft sad story ??

oh god just make it official already

anyway, he's off in 2018 right? put him on a media ban till then. no good can come off "tell all" interviews for us. he can whinge and whine and cry using $100 notes as tissues all he likes next year.

On the bus for 2017!

Good to see he's more interested in spilling his guts on TV rather than "ripping in"

He is a fool, a buffoon and an idiot.

Why can't he go about his contract negotiations like a normal person?

For christs sake. I have never hated a rugby league player so much, this one so happens to be the captain of the club I love.

The way he has gone about this is so childish. Sign a contract and commit somewhere, no need for your 'tell all' crap. Quite frankly, no one cares.

He has dragged his own name through the mud and is making it worse for himself. Was considered future NSW Captain and possibly even Australian captain after C Smith/JT retire. He can add that onto the list of things he will never achieve now.

What a disgrace, I have never seen a club captain act in such a humiliating manner.

Yeah, good idea for a current captain to air the laundry. I mightn't, but can understand why some would want to boo him in our colours.

Dogs can't make it official until they prove they are cap compliant for 2018 so it may take a while

Let it go son, you can be fairly certain this was initiated by Fox - it was always going to happen. I'm not too fussed what he says, it's not going to change anything.

Totally unnecessary. If he wants to sign elsewhere that's fine, but he should keep his mouth shut until seasons end. He's still a tigers player until then.

The ckub made the right decision. The boys were nevrr going to sign with us, no matter what they now claim.

I think Taylor's coaching and his subsequent, surprise sacking had more to do with our poor performances than any of the contract dramas, tbh - we've actually won 2 of the last 3 with all this still going on, but I understand where you're coming from.

The media are really the bad guys in all of this and they are where we should be aiming our 'hate' and criticism, not at the players who are now leaving, nor the club. Not all of them of course, there are 1 or 2 decent journos out there, but for the most part the football media has done everything in its power to destabilise our team and our club with their constant innuendo and speculative stories bombarding us all the time. And for our part, I think we have been to eager to take everything they say or print as gospel and are reading too much into every bit of bs they have fed us.

Despite what people think about how our players have handled it, there is no way they should've been put under that much pressure to make a decision on their futures so early in the season - its only bloody April now and all of this actually started the first week into the season! And like you say southerntiger, it's because of this constant barrage of media speculation trying to destabilise us that the club was forced to impose an early deadline, which the players were a bit a miffed with, and rightly so.

It's time the media go find some other club to go and crucify and leave us the hell alone! The best way to throw all this in back in their ugly faces and get them off our backs is for WT fans to throw all our support behind the team, as it stands for this season, and for the team to play good footy and keep winning - Ivan Cleary knows this and so does the team. Fans booing their own players at the games all season will only give those media scum more fodder to rake us and the club through the mud over and over again.

Needs to stroke his ego a little more by going on Fox… Hasn't handle his exit well at all especially as current captain

It's all the clubs fault…not mine hahahah

There's nothing he can say to redeem himself in my eyes. Except maybe to keep his mouth shut and play some quality football.

I'd love to play poker against him, he wasn't very good at not giving it away that he was going when asked by Ben Ikin the other week.
When your captain sits there and says he wants to know who the new coach is going to be and starts using the old cliche line of "I just want to focus on playing footy, the rest will blah blah blaaaaaaeeergghh" you know he's lying through his teeth, his mind was made up, you could see it in his body language.

Woods and Teddy were **NEVER** going to sign for the WT…that is now very obvious....They just strung the club along, created this 'BIG 4" myth to only up their price....and it has worked probably better than they expected!.
