Because the club didn't confide in Woods and Tedesco about JTs sacking and Cleary's contract? But "his job is to play"?
I said in an earlier post that he would trot this line out.

He hasn't been a proper captain and taken responsibilty on the field and hasn't shown any leadership off it. I expect Tedesco to play the same tune now. Sorry predicament but I was brought up to be honest and principled in everything I do. Poor character by Woods. So be it.

The contrast between how Reynolds has handled himself leaving the Bulldogs and how Woods has handled himself leaving the Tigers is staggering. Speaks volumes about the character of both.
 
After watching. Disappointed he is even associated with the Tigers.
He says frustrated- is a big word. He was one of the reasons for the frustration.
I say strip him of captaincy now.
He is bringing a tigers brand into ill repute by saying all of this while still captain.
Could Tigers sue him for damages
 
Unfortunately the media will have further ammunition if we were to strip him of the captaincy.
So it'll problem won't happen. I hope we do though

Sadly, the Wests Tigers can't say a damn word to defend themselves. But there is dignity in knowing that you have done things correctly and no having to bleat about it in the media.

Same with McQueen and Matulino. Both said yes, I'm moving on but I have a job to do here first. Professional by all three unlike woods.

I've been saying for a while how low quality people these things are. I can't wait until they are gone.
 
I would not be releasing him. I would be introducing him to the Maggies in RMC for the rest of the year.

On second thought, I wouldn't do that to our boys in the RMC side either. They don't deserve it.
 
Did he have to do the whole interview thing though. All we wanted to know was if he was resigning with the tigers, not his whole life story. Tedesco will probably have an interview coming up too. Anyways im glad hes going, feel let down by him but like aaron said "it is what it is". Honestly all the haters on this forum seriously need to build a bridge and get over it already, its time to move on.

I don't think they will. They have actually been way too accommodating to the traitors supposedly representing our club.

He should be sacked and the club should come out and not state how bad it is that Woods is leaving and how good he has been but how he hasn't performed the captain's role to the clubs expectations.
