Nah mate nothing was different , just Foxtel trying to flog a poor ratings show .
 
The problem with the whole Woods thing, he can say anything he wants, because the press are not interested in if its true or not, they just want headlines and sadly there are a lot of people who believe what they hear and read. Poor big Adam is not smart enough to realise the press are just using him for headlines.
 
The Club needs to take a firm stance. Fine him and strip him of the Captaincy. Show everyone that no player is bigger than the club.
And no more fluff piece member emails thanking him for his service.
 
He looked & sounded ridiculous in that fox interview. A couple of questions I would've liked answered off the back of his comments:

Sick of not playing finals footy, well why didn't he take responsibility as captain & leader of the pack to take us there?

At the start of the year he couldn't imagine being anywhere but the Tigers, so why didn't he re-sign then seeing as his contract had already been on offer for months prior.

Really disappointed that he is not taking any accountability & jumping ship when his club needs him the most.

The obvious fact (to all of us bar Aaron and his manager) is that the club put forward an offer that they thought represented his true worth as a player in a new direction for the club.

All a bit late when the CEO was welcoming him and what he brings to the club in an interview at the dogs game last night.
 
There are a few things that Woods has said that I'm not happy with. 1\. He wants to play in the finals. So he doesn't want to LEAD the Tigers into the finals he wants to be taken along for the ride by team mates at another club. Not happy Woodsy!! Take responsibility son!

2\. He's not happy he got blamed for the sacking of JT. The only idiots who blamed him for that were the media. Not the club, not the board, not the supporters. So he's leaving the club because of the media? Not very smart this lad. Take responsibility son!

3\. The club didn't speak to him for 3 weeks after JT got sacked. Really?? I'm sure he was in team meetings when the situation was explained to all the players and staff by the management. Did he expect a dinner date at Le Montage with the board to stroke his ego? The blokes a paid employee. A very well paid employee. Not happy Woodsy. Take responsibility son!

I've got quite a few more but the red wine beckons. He and Moses should be released immediately or it's gonna get ugly. Well, uglier than it is now.

If he was so concerned about not being contacted by the club for 3 weeks, then why didn't he speak to them? Surely if the club captain said to the CEO that he wanted to have a chat then it would have been organised.
 
After 6 plus months of dangling a huge carrot infront of him, i fail to believe it came down to 3 weeks of silence. What a load of garbage. POQ.

After he strings the club along for months, he has the hide to complain over 3 weeks. Price check on tampons please.
 
Biggest copout ever. Honestly listening to him makes freddy fittlers conversation sound like an intellectual person.

Media has no friggen clue. Someone has to have a go at him surely?
 
When people do media line a pre-arranged interview, there are always minders off camera. They control the questions and responses. What you see is not what you get.

Woodsy is a footy player and the media would have contacted him through his management. I fully suspect this was his manager's doing. I am not sure what it tried to achieve but some blame shifting back to the club. It didn't work.

Throughout the "Big 3s" departure and media, there is one constant - work it out.
 
Just saw that disgraceful put down of the club by Woods. Surely Cleary has to sack this bloke as captain effective immediately. Rambling (and fairly obviously pre scripted) garbage is all it was. He had a generous offer in front of him for many months and failed to respond, even to a final ultimatum from the club to bring matters to a conclusion so it could plan for the future if he wasn't going to re-sign. And he has the audacity to whinge about not getting a call from Pascoe or Cleary!
