Aaron Woods

The best thing about Woods being at the dogs is the fact they he left us, a club struggling, to go to another club that looked great.

He did the hard yards with the Tigers and went through our tough patches. But, he left just before the club clicked into gear.

Now he is repeating the process at the Dogs…haha

One step forward. Two steps back…

Let him rott at the doggies where he is unwanted till he gets sold off to the highest bidder...
Hopefully another dud rebuilding team where he can suffer even more.

Tried to screw us over on his way out worst captain weve ever had

Id never want him back regardless of form

It would be highly amusing to get him back with a Dogs subsidy though! I hear it's a live chance of happening.

I have warmed to this scenario

It's a business at the end of the day.

Regardless of what people think of him, if he suits the clubs needs and the price is right, I assume he would be considered like any other forward.

True, but if anyone else is seriously looking at him and wants to spend to get him I think they will. I can't see WT spending more than the minimum on him.

Depends on how much Woodsy wants to come back home, if he has realised that home is where the heart is he may prioritise this over moving to Newcastle or the Sharks. Assuming he kept his mouth shut and remained humble, he would win most fans back.

Hard to know. But he certainly didn't spend the minimum on Reynolds and or whats been talked about on Mbye. I think it will all come down to whether Cleary thinks he is what we need to take the team forward.
I think he certainly has no hard feelings toward Woods like some of the fans hold, just not sure if he thinks money needs to be spent elsewhere. He offers a lot more minutes than both Packer and Matulino with the reduction in the interchange that could be a factor.

He will get more $$$ going to the Knights or Parra.

If he came to the Tigers he would have to take a hit on the pocket.

I would take him back but don't think it will happen, Knights are that desperate for forwards that I wouldn't be surprised if they paid full freight.

If Woods rejoins the Tigers, after Benji this year and Halatau/Richards the last few seasons, what an unexpected comeback.

Wonder if it would be all warm and fuzzy? Benji had a few seasons for us to forgive and forget, but I wouldn't say he left under vastly better circumstances.

No problem from my end!
Win Win for the team.
Nothing to do with anything but putting together a winning team. And he would add to that in spades.
He played well for us until the very last game. Did not drag his tail like Moses.
In my working life I always tried to do the very best for my family and career when making decisions about my future employment. Sometimes you make wrong choices but as long as you can say that you gave all while employed by your existing organisation then you can keep your head up.
Really ….. have no problem with him coming back.

Very well said. Completely agree.

I'd much prefer to spend the cash on a second rower, than on Woods.
Someone Jaydn Su'A, Tevita Pangai Jr, Payne Hass, Bronco's can't keep them all.

He can come back for Sue's money, he is one head knock of retirement I think

Woods is a dog through and through.
He's burnt his bridges and he can burn his undies for all I care !
Let him rot !
