Who gives a s*** mate, people want to have their say - its a forum and as you're a moderator so rather than post about it, do something about it.

He just did something about it, or tried to…a simple request, and you slag him off.
Well done champ.

Mate - who do you think you are you hero. Every single thread on here has your 2 cents on it. You give it a break CHAMP.

And we all just realised what we are dealing with. No need for anyone to reply to this one guys, obviously sat arvo on the cans has got the better of someone. Dont lower yourself Ink

Brett Stewart shouldnt play again this year but would be shocked if he got more then a week. Glen Stewart and Blair will be lucky to play again in 2011, so we could be missing Blair to start 2012.

geez mate how long do you expect Blair to get? if he even gets anything at all. And take into account suspension's can be served in trials, Blair is zero chance of missing round 1 next yr as a result of this

There are strong similarities between the actions of Brett Stewart and those of Danny Williams in 2004\. The only difference was that Williams connected. Brett Stewart should get 12 weeks. Running 30m to be third man in with a flying swinging arm to the head of player. Thankfully, he did not connect.

His actions were the worst seen in the NRL since 2004.

Disagree entirely he came in with a shoulder charge not a punch, team mates should come in and back each other up.
As I said on another thread, what Lussick did was disgraceful, punching Blair on the ground whilst 3 or 4 other blokes were laying on him.
Everyone is calling all the Manly blokes dogs, but what do you want, your players not to come in and let your mate get pummelled. None of the manly players (except Lussick) threw a punch when they came in.

your kidding mate have another look at it Brett Stewart clearly connects with a fist to Adam Blairs head.

Dont get me wrong ken ive had a fair share of arguements but your going on a bit over nothing.take a chill pill.

Sirro dont explain it just do it…its simple

I am listening to 2KY/Sky Sports radio at the moment and a caller suggested that Glen Stewart gave his brother a signal that it was going to be on when he dawdled off the field when he was binned.
This could explain why he didn't directly go to the bin while Blair attempted to get off the field ASAP.
I can't imagine that Blair would recieve a suspension as he did what was required from him by the officials and was clearly goaded into it by the boofhead Manly player who instigated the whole incident.

Why is that Jas? all they did was have a blue. there was no dirty stuff between those two. Anything over a week would be a total over reaction and an outrage.

I just knew once I saw it that the NRL will make an example of them and they wont play again in 2011, which the Sunday Telegraph believe will happen (so it is a chance). So they would be facing minimum 5 match suspension to avoid them playing again this year incase either team makes the grand final. But if Melbourne is knocked out week 2 of the finals or wins week one and loses week 3, that means Blair would of only missed 3 matches and still has 2 match suspension to face next year. I forgot about trials, but is they a rule that you can only use one trial match as a suspension? Just have a memory of that from somewhere. Anyway no point worrying till see what the suspension he gets and we can worry about that in 2012\. Just wouldnt be a great start to his career at the Wests Tigers when he is rumoured to be getting 500k.

I am hoping the NRL comes hard on Brett Stewart, he is a dog of a player. Have to laugh he injured his knee in that attempt.

No worries einstein, ill lock every thread on it and direct people to the thread that was started first if you like? Or should i try and do the right thing by others who have taken the time to post their thoughts in various threads?????? Ill choose them over you, so i wont lock them.

I just wanted to make a point for people to try and look around so this doesnt happen too often. As it sometimes does. It makes the forum and the "subject' being discussed much more accessible and enjoyable.

KS, i think Ken Y and Ink are trying to make the point that the forum is getting a bit messy. thats all.

i can't understand why these threads haven't been merged. They're beyond impossible to keep up with. You forget who posted what where

Even if Blair copped a 5game suspension, wouldn't his nz games at the end of the year count? Is absolutely no chance of missing the start of next season

His mouth guard. Puts it there at the conclusion of each game, or in Friday night's case, after he gets sent off

yep at the time i thought i bet g steward still has his in. i know id much rather mixing it up with it in!

ps: i know sometimes the mods can seem harsh, but then there is a hell of a lot of work they put in controlling the forum. glad i don't have to do it!

No…only NRL sanctioned games count towards suspension Im pretty sure....Tests & four- nations fall under the RLIF jurisdiction

Oh really? Fair enough, I always thought it counted, thought there has been times in the past when I've heard so n so in doubt of a test due to suspension. Regardless I still don't believe Blair will miss start of our season

Manly ran the game for 50 years and now that they have to follow the same rules as everyone else they cry like babies. I hate Melbourne for their cheating but they had 3 premierships taken off them and have not complained once this year, they've just gotten on with the job. BrettStewart got a bum rap, and he carries on like a pork chop for the next 20 years! They brawl as though poor Manly have been hard done by. Boo-bloody-hoo. Fine 'em half a mil and ban 5 players for a month. Let 'em cry into their corn flakes. :rant

Right on the money, twodogs!

If I done what Brett Stewart done when I was playing I would have got 6 weeks min got 4 weeks for way less then that . This is the problem now as this will set a precedent not only for the nrl but all the jr clubs out there ..
