My point is To’a is far from our biggest problem.

The attack coaching has been horrendous.

I mean... not sure we have attack coaching. You're just encouraged to play what's in front of you because Tim Sheens told Benji that and it worked for him.

Sorry mate I don't agree. Yes the harbour bridge scutout and the kick on the money to a back is X factor level and Campbell showed it. However, if the pass went to ground or the kick went to ground it would have had the defence in two minds and providing time and space to play our game plan.

The X factor may be applicable to us - but NSW had Cleary and Lomax/Latrell as options and didn't go there. I really think the odern game is so much about structure and patience that when you are prevented from playing how you want to players lack the brains to adapt.

Ever since Adam was a boy a compressed defence with quick line speed is susceptible to a well executed kicking game or the ability to shift quickly. So a bit more depth and a wide shift you can go round and a well executed kick you have them running backwards and on a good day retrieve the ball in good field postion if you don't covert it into ponts.

You don't need an X factor - you need a player that can read a game - not just the moment.

Adam really had no impact on the game today until the final few seconds, and his goal kickiy.6m per group. Made some tackles but didn't do a huge amount of work.

I sat behind the posts, you could see both Latu and Luai playing a little bit too laterally but Doueihi played straight. It was especially clear when Doueihi went off, we got a little leggy sideways again, then he came back on and we went more direct.

We scored all 3 tries on our left, barge-overs, after dragging the Titans to the middle then sweeping wide. And I'm pretty sure Doueihi was on the field for all of them - in fact yes he was for sure, he took the conversions.

Just read @Mighty_Tiger stats.....he was likely pretty gassed.

Gotta give credit as well to Latu....the pass left to right to douehi for the one pointer could not have been better...it was perfect and it was long, a kicker having to take.a step left or right or reach above to recieve the ball can make all the difference

AD did OK in Defence - 30 odd tackles in 60 minutes with 89% effectiveness if I recall correctly. He was not outstanding but did his job. Less room for them to manoeuvre probably helps his decision making. IT wasn't an outstanding performance on either side of the ball, but it is an exercise worth continuing with.

I was hoping his defence improved and sounds like it did.
I think he makes a good option for a 14 going forward I just don’t think he’s ego will like not being in the starting 13.

I’ll play devils advocate here. If our problem is our halves play too laterally and not straight enough is having a lock play before them allowing them to play even more laterally the best thing long term?
Isn’t the answer that both our halves need to start playing direct with running options inside and out and just digging out a channel in the defence down the line?

He asked for $500k. Richo doesn't want to spend more than $300k. So AD sent Moses to have a sniff elsewhere but mainly to put pressure on Richo. He wants to stay but wants to be paid.

That was all before the lock move though so me thinks there may be a discussion coming re. his commitment to add weight and focus on that position (become our Yeo). If he still sees himself as a half, then I agree with others on here that he may take a one-year extension for less than he wants and try for a Perth position in 2027 on more coin.

Be interesting to see if Perth want him …I suspect Moses would know by now the amount of interest from them …I think your figures might be spot on actually ..

We went laterally too often without engaging the middle. The Titans always had numbers out wide and we didn't strip them for numbers. It was a couple of May brilliances or offloads that helped us get line breaks.

Big games coming up against Panthers & Bulldogs for AD. If he proves he can succeed as a lock & be an influence against those calibre teams, offer him $450k for year 1 & then $500k for year 2 to be starting lock.

I don’t get the vibes Richo is gunna offer him that kinda money ..
