He certainly did play very well today and the slow wet conditions helped him in that regard imho as it brought everyone else down to his pace.On that effort i would give him an extension at the right price and keeping Moses as far away from negotiations as possible if we can.
 
Played well today and has done for a couple of weeks. 13 or utility worth at least 450 to us over 2 years. I hope it’s not just contract adrenaline fuelling his performances. Either way he is helping us avoid a spoon and building some much needed team confidence.

He has been playing good occasionally. Some games, man he has been a gun.

Other games. He goes totally quiet.

Look if he is going to only play this well in contract years. Give him 1 year at 600k and just keep repeating.
 
For me I would offer him a 2 year deal as he has been great.

I would give him the 7 jumper and Latu 14 or 13 and see how that's goes.

Adam is a long kicker, can kick goals, quicker than expected, and I think it creates space for Laui.

Plus he loves the club.

Mate I know you're an AD critic but you have to commend the bloke for how he has come back from serious injuries. No point being bitter about the past we need to plan for the future. He killed it in the trials and it's taken 22 rounds to figure out where we should play him.
 
his last few deals have only been a year at a time .Whether he thinks he is a contract magician or the club see's him as lazy and injury prone ,.

I wouldn't mind if we signed Douhei to play 7 for 2027.. Latu is our guy long term, but by re-signing douhei it gives Latu time to get games under his belt and work on the areas he needs to improve..

Funnily enough, the game against the eels (when Galvin was dropped) it took 50-60 minutes but I recall Douhei and Luai starting to find their groove..

Hes no Jonathan Thurston, but man he made a difference today.

Don’t blame the run of injuries, he’s had plenty of games in between to stink it up.
You reckon 7 is his spot? I remember Brandon Wakeman coming on and having the game of his life and a lot were carrying on how we finally found a half. Let’s see him close out the year consistently well and then maybe we can throw him an extra year.
I’m never bitter it’s always a game. For me right now, I reckon our 1 year offer to continue paying us back, and to stay with his junior club that’s on the up, is good, and we should sit on our hand.
