I think this is a really good signing. In the offseason we've picked up the two Leilua's, Doueihi and likely loaning a great hooker for 12 months. All really smart buys imo. I'm heading into 2020 with a hell of a lot more confidence than 2019. I reckon we're a really good chance for the 8.

Good to hear. We are looking a lot better aren't we.

Oh and I forgot Musgrove too. A low risk, high reward type signing given the low $ he'd be on. We're looking heaps better. That right side of Marshall with the two Leilua's and then Doueihi chiming in will cause some teams some real problems. Will be fun to watch.

Our right side lacked impact last year. I reckon that is fixed now. If anything the right side looks stronger than the left side.

Our middles are looking good although I'd like to get that Parra forward earlier than next season but I think Musgrove is going to be a beast for us.

I hope so too .. but what i remember watching Musgrove playing with Souffs .. for a bloke of his size, he's was a bit of a marshmellow .. :-(

Still think it’s overs (450k) for a 2 Try wannabe...
As Geo said he’ll need to slay it from the get go !
So Thompson to the wing and Jennings to Centrelink ?

I can’t se Jennings being here after this season, the last year that he was at South’s GI set up every one of his tries, all Jennings had to do was fall over the line.
No GI last year and he looked and played like crap.
Perform this year or off to ESL.
Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

Corey is a starter any day of the week, on the wing he can cover fullback. He is a goer, much better than Jennings.

Corey is a better ***player*** than Jennings, but I'm worried that he is a defensive liability on the wing due to his lack of height and the new stupid rules on tackling in the air. If you have Cory on the wing it will be "Bombs Away" all day.

He’s garbage
I’ll be pissed if Thompson doesn’t make the starting side ?

I didnt read this before but it was tacked on the end of Hoopers article

****Wests Tigers new chairman Lee Hagipantelis has personally met Doueihi and presented the Tigers vision for the club.

Hagipantelis is believed to have played a crucial role in convincing the young gun to return to the club where Doueihi played junior football.****

Personally don’t see the hype around Doueihi that everyone else seems to see, however I’m rooting for him and hopefully he changes my mind and plays some good footy in the number 1 jersey

I’m of the same opinion....
4 years is too long imo

Released by Rabbitohs officially.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs have given an unconditional release to Adam Doueihi from the remainder of his contract effective immediately, allowing him join to another NRL club.

Doueihi played 30 NRL games for South Sydney since making his first grade debut in 2018. Doueihi has represented Lebanon whilst playing for the Rabbitohs.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs thank Adam for all of his efforts in the red and green over the past four seasons and wish him and his family the best of luck in the future.

Hope the DT pulled that figure out of their butt, way overs.

Those figures are crazy - we are supposedly 500k for this year with souths throwing in 150k and 600k for next year with souths throwing in 50k. Which means we are paying him 1.4 mil for 2022 and 2023. he better be showing that superstar potential by then.

Read POMs explanation on the previous page

POMs explanation doesn't add up - either he is wrong or DT are are just making up figures.

It's Ayoub, trying to beat his chest with that figure, it's wrong & the club isn't paying that amount.

Well around $400k for a GOOD utility seems fair. Hope he turns out good. As someone already mentioned if he proves himself as good as lot of people have said he is than we can always upgrade him Dow the line.

I haven't watched much of him or payed close attention when he did play so i don't know how good he actually is.

But most souths fan are not happy about losing Doueihi. I can only see that as a positive for us.

I hope he turns out to be an absolute weapon

Not thrilled on the Doueihi signing...I think he's signed for too much and for too long and is overrated.

In saying that, I hope he kills it and proves me wrong. Once the Tigers jersey goes on, I'll support him like anyone else.

Good luck and welcome if true.

Feeling pumped still lack pace but hey it’s a start
1.Doueihi
2.Nof
3.BJ
4.Mbye
5.Jennings

Depth:
Smith
Talau
Thommo

I’d personally run thommo off the bench as I’d love him to be in the starting 17 come round 1

Tim Sheens, is that you? Wingers on the bench ?

I’d have him at lock for a lil bit like papi at storm...feel he would kill it there for 10-20mins running around seeking affloads using his agility and acceleration....also for those thinking thommo is fast he isn’t...Jennings is the safer option on the wing as we already have nofo who is also short on one side...let’s hope Jennings finds form and learns how to position himself well in defence...if Madge wants a bigger body and doesn’t want to use thommo I’d have Taylor or huth off the bench

As Gus would say

No no no no no no no times infinity.

Often it’s just an expression when you say you stopped reading after the first sentence. Not in this case.
