OFFICIAL Adam Doueihi #227

I find this a bit of a stretch theres nowhere these days where you can smoke indoors at a public venue
Vape is different it dissipates, when I’m at the valley people take sneaky hits and the smoke clears extremely quickly, so I doesn’t shock me that players vape indoors (Kelvin proctor at half time a few years back) but I’d be shocked if the coaching staff actively see it and allow it

The Tigers have been useless for weeks. I think Laui decision to sign for Chiefs has pissed off the playing group.
Now this whole fiasco with Doheee stinks of Moses getting an opportunity to sticking his snout into WT operations and trying to ensure he can totally wreck yet another season for Tigers and to achieve his goal to get Benji sacked.
He probably gave Doheee a list of issues that he himself correlated and wanted Doheee to present to Benji and Shaun for a reaction.

Moses is a grub and now has Doheee under his control.Piss Doheee off.

Funny how we’re not hearing anything regarding Latu being let down at the judiciary hearing - wasn’t he there too. Benji wasn’t there with him either- but Pat Richards was there, along with legal representation from the club. Is not that enough, or does Benji go every time for every player.
Wasn’t Latu listed as 21 on the Tuesday afternoon list? At that time a team was named and these 2 had been suspended FFS. In that team a rookie was handed a debut at half and Benji had made selections to try and get the team playing footy again.
Once AD had been allowed to play by the MRC Benji slotted him into lock which is a position many feel his future is in.
Sorry but I can’t see anything wrong with any of it other than AD being a selfish sook!
If you want to look for an even worse possibility, then potentially the whole episode and media beat up is a Moses plan to get him out of the club.
This!

💯 and if there are all these cultural issues at the club why weren't they previously raised.

So next year, is the below our best 19?

Good God!

We are going to get destroyed

1-Bula

12-KPP
13-Twal

14-Sione F
15-Roberts
16-Tavana
17-Madden
18-Seyfarth
19-Sukkar

And who is underneath them if one gets injured?

We better be making some moves.
Assume we have anywhere from 1 to 1.2 million left over from luai and douhei.

Do they go for a proven player like a walker, then let javon and latu play it out for the 6?Not that I see us being able to pay anyone enough to come here after the luai experiment didnt work out.

As much as I hate what AD has done, we need him. Maybe he knows that.

From the Daily Telegraph:

“Perth Bears are poised to pounce on a disgruntled Adam Doueihi after the utility star only committed to remaining at Wests Tigers the rest of this season.

“A peace meeting on Monday at the club’s Concord headquarters temporarily eased tension between Doueihi and the club.

“(The Daily Telegraph) has been told that those at the meeting – Doueihi, his agent Isaac Moses, head coach Benji Marshall, club CEO Shaun Mielekamp and head of football Pat Richards – agreed that Doueihi would defuse the situation by returning to training on Tuesday and playing out the rest of the season at Wests Tigers.

“After the season ends, Moses could seek to have Doueihi’s future re-evaluated.”

If this is true, then it’s 💯 all been chess moves from old mate Moses. The filthy weasel
If that’s true just get him out the door now. Holding off until the end of the year just makes a mockery of standards and our backbone as a club.
Fairdinkum, you can’t make this shit up!

This vaping etc sounds like a Mosess/ Douhie camp clutching st straws trying to put a positive spin on things.
I vaguely remember Douhie hosting the tigers at his house and they were all jumping on the hubbly bubbly . Not that I am condoning vaping but gees come on.
Also how could bulldog Ritchie keeps straight face with all that dribble he was saying pro mosses and Douhie.

Talk the Roosters will offer Walker a 10 year, $14m deal

That's a piss weak cop out and it's crap excuses like that why we're still a joke. Then Benji shouldn't be making a big speech about standards!! And that's BS about not fielding a team because the likes of Turuva or To'a could've been replaced by Sakuru anytime. May could've been dropped back to the bench at any point until he lifted his standards and we had Latu the whole season wasting away on the bench while Madden and Luai have stunk it up for most of the season.

Speculative? Take a look at the efforts of those players over the last two months and then tell me with a straight face that therre isn't a lot of truth to it.
I think you are partly right, but forgetting how many injuries we had at one stage.

Against the Panthers we had Geyer and Murray in the starting side. Turuva and Makasini in the centres. Jock in the halves.

Two weeks before against the storm, hope started at hooker and mason at fullback.

I can see why benji wouldnt want to shake things up further.

in all this, maybe AD is correct. Its just a shame he did it the way he did, surely he had other options?

If Benji plays him, all the chat about team first all pre season and all year means nothing to the players from now on. He will lose the locker room.

he's not a half, he's not a lock, he's too slow for the centres or backrow, so what is he? definitely not a fullback.

he dogged it for Javon Andrews debut, that's not someone who cares about the club or his teammates.
You obviously must have missed his 60m try against the Doggies & his remarkable chase tackle on an opposition player that had a head start and looked certain to score a long distance try (was it v Newcastle?) both times the commentators were surprised, as was I to be honest at his speed.

Don't get me wrong, he isn't in the same group of truly fast players like Saab, Ado Carr or The Hammer, he's slow of the mark but he CAN really motor if he get a clear break without getting checked.

I haven’t forgotten about the injuries and they have played a part. However, against the Panthers, Benji also played Madden despite having Latu available. There was also no reason to pick Geyer, who had played 21 minutes the entire season at that point but was given an 80 minute start, over Tony Sukkar who was available that week and had done the job for us before.

He also could’ve left Turuva on the wing and given Saukuru his debut but instead he went partial Sheenius and moved players out of position.

I don’t blame him for his selections in the Storm game as that was the depth we had at hooker and FB.

No doubt AD is a dick for the way he has handled this. He’s embarrassed himself and the club the way he’s responded. But like I said, I think there is a fair bit of truth to the allegations about the culture and Benji’s double standards when it comes to certain players.

We need an actual proven halves player to show the young fellas the first grade ropes.

AD has never been a halves player outside of a handful of starring solo performances.
