OFFICIAL Adam Doueihi #227

Mate he’s one of very few players in our squad who has had a go over the past couple of years and pretty much the only bloke who can put points on.
Add that to the fact that he actually cares about the club and it makes your statement dead in the water
he's not a half, he's not a lock, he's too slow for the centres or backrow, so what is he? definitely not a fullback.

he dogged it for Javon Andrews debut, that's not someone who cares about the club or his teammates.

Speculation. What I don’t think is speculation is how matey Benii is with the playing group. I’m sure the fact they all idolised him growing up feeds his ego.
I agree re Benji being matey with the playing group.

Out of curiosity, do you personally think there’s some truth to players and the vaping? I sure as hell do if their performances and social media are anything by to go by.

I don’t care whether they do it at weight sessions or outside of them, they shouldn’t be doing it full stop. They’re meant to be professional athletes

Thats hard to argue with really.

Ive banged on for years asking what are they doing at training...its obvious rheyre not working hard enough.
Every succesful.player ive heard when asked whats the number 1 thing that got tem that success, almost to a T they say "hard work".

Funny though when Seyfarth came on. Last saturday i thought he looked even bigger than usual (In a good way)...seemed.like the biggest bloke on the field...then he scored.and kissed the logo
A lot of people knock Seyfarth, but if ALL our players loved the club like he & Twally do and played with the effort they put in, they give their all, we would be a premiership contender every season.

Seyfarth and Twally might not be among the most talented of forwards in the game and in Seyfarth's case, he has an error or two in his game but you can't deny the effort he and Twally put in that the other players seem incapable of or unwilling to sadly.

This all sounds very specific from Kent.

Pretty obviously fed this info.

All sounds pretty plausible, particularly the stuff about Terrell May. Luai offering to step down for AD to take his spot is also wild - what happened to brothers, and caring for this club bro?

It's just sounding like the circus I'd thought it would be on the inside, but have led myself to believe that there ain't no way a professional club can be run like that. Vaping while lifting weights, kidding themselves.

No one has knocked Seyfarth more than me on this forum but I could never question his overall effort or love for the club.

If the rest of the playing group mirrored that effort and love, we’d be well into the top 8 and competing for a top 4 spot.

Just had a listen to Kents podcast. I thought he gave another side to the story that blew me away..If any of this is true (he is not aligned to anyone as far as i know.) Benji has a lot to answer for. There is too much to type out but if half of what he said is true, my god we are such an inept club we are beyond hope on all levels. I have never been a massive fan of Benji as coach and after listening to what he lets happen at training and letting certain people can get away with in the club is scary. We are so unprofessional and Benjis big statement on the doco is worthless. Yes i may have changed my opinion and all may not be true but from the leaks we here in the media, we have a hell of a long way to dig ourselves out of this complete mess that the club has created.
I just listened to it as well ... far out. If even half of that is actually true, the NRL should seriously close the joint.

You’re not meant to do it at pubs yet everyone does it. It’s pretty easy to get away with, trust me.
See people doing it at footy games.
Don't seem to be getting kicked out either.

They tried to normalise it, but the government stepped in.
Everyone knows you can buy these Ali Barber vapes at any suss tobacconist.

Think they'll come to an end eventually though.

Funny how we’re not hearing anything regarding Latu being let down at the judiciary hearing - wasn’t he there too. Benji wasn’t there with him either- but Pat Richards was there, along with legal representation from the club. Is not that enough, or does Benji go every time for every player.
Wasn’t Latu listed as 21 on the Tuesday afternoon list? At that time a team was named and these 2 had been suspended FFS. In that team a rookie was handed a debut at half and Benji had made selections to try and get the team playing footy again.
Once AD had been allowed to play by the MRC Benji slotted him into lock which is a position many feel his future is in.
Sorry but I can’t see anything wrong with any of it other than AD being a selfish sook!
If you want to look for an even worse possibility, then potentially the whole episode and media beat up is a Moses plan to get him out of the club.

It’s all damage control now AD is gone. True character will show in all the so called lack of standards exposed. Didn’t hear anything when the club was 5-2 early in the season.

So Paul Kent claims that Richards called Doueihi last night, and asked him not to bring Moses to the meeting. Presumably because it would be in the media 30 mins later. Kent patted Doueihi on the back for being too smart for that. Yeeeeetttt, how did Kent know Richards called Doueihi? The irony.
Literally every journo has the story in great detail and our CEO decides make the statement he did today...just amateur hour.

Moses mouth piece Weidler on sky radio this morning suggesting Moses was taken back by AD’s action last week, and Moses thinks he should’ve played in Canberra. And also no deal outside of AD’s contract has been pursued (yeah, right) So, the PR/spin has blown up so bad that now Moses is distancing himself from client… this of course means nothing as Adam lining up in Perth jersey next year is short odds. Moses operating is absolutely fascinating and extremely infuriating and slowly destroying everything at the club.
He’s distancing himself because this is the 3rd time in 18months he’s caused this exact situation at the tigers . He has to have had a written warning . For those cont counting :
Benji tells Bateman he needs to lift , Bateman walks out , and he ends up at the cowboys , Galvin nuff said , and this .
He has to be on a final warning with threat of investigation .

Also Wayne didn’t go for Fifita . Nor did any coach attend the last time around . Absolute nonsense . It’s not even up tot he club because the player pays the fine . The club would advise but ultimately it’s the players choice … because as if it wouldn’t be if the fine is like 50k . Matterson was exhibit A on this .

Why would a Head Coach even go?
Did Wayne go for Fifita on the same night?
You send the GM & legal representation that sounds about right?

Only time I’ve seen a coach go is Ivan and that was only to represent for his son.
