Big fan of Adam. Great runner of the footy, shown some really nice passing and a good spiral bomb. If he can develop a nice short kicking game and sure his defence up too he will be the whole package. Really excited to see how he goes this year

Really impressed with Doueihi’s attitude. If anyone is going to lead the backline around it will be Doueihi.

He has the mindset to take control, brooks always talks about it but never does it. Adam is a real leader at our club and being named in our leadership group despite being only 22 is a testament to that, completely agree that if anyone can take charge and lead in our spine it'll be him.

Very simple game plan for LB this week. Support your ball runners out of yardage and then get to areas where you can get AD and LL one on one with Keary and Lam attacking the line. Tidy up your kicking game, give up the kick offs and lead the line speed. And the talk.

Lastly, Pray that Teddy doesn’t show up.

Adam will turn out to be our long term 6 as he has the skills to kill it..
Great cut out passer, Kicks wicked Bombs, Kick goals, Reads the game well and has a great attitude and wants to succeed.. Didn't get picked in the Leadership group for nothing.
He will make errors along the way but has a lot of experience in the 6 in juniors and will develop nicely.
Looking forward to him playing this weekend.

Should bring Noffa into the game too. Mbye was all over the shop trying to do too much. Need his composure.

I think the biggest winner will be Daine L as he loves to hang around the ball.

Adam Doueihi hasnt played 80mins yet for the Tigers at 6. Lately I am amazed at how some people sing the praises of some of our guys, despite absolutely zero evidence. AD, TT, Mommers, Liddle and Simpkins the worst with Jock Madden an honorable mention.

Like all of our guys I hope AD is a raging success, but I shake my head at the capacity to generate hype from nothing.

Some have built 5 year in hyping up Jacob Liddle, in WT case we have Simpkin if he does not live up to the hype.
In the case of AD and Brooks we do not have a ready made replacement they either succeed or we are screwed

Wrt Doueihi, it's hardly "absolutely zero" evidence. 60 minutes against the Eels with two try assists (should have been three, but Tommy T dropped the ball with the line open) and 40 minutes against an under-strength Manly with (from memory) one individual try and two try assists. Plus he played all his junior footy at 5/8.

Doueihi has shown enough in those two cameos to suggest that he has the skills to succeed at 5/8.

I take your point about some of the others though.

He still has some major holes in his game that he needs to work on to be a long term 5/8th. I think he will get there.

I'll take your word on that cochise. I haven't seen "major holes" in his game, although there are areas I would like to see improved for him to become a more complete player, such as his right-to-left passing.

Also his defence in the front line has not been tested.

I agree that the basic ingredients are there for him to become an established 5/8.

This is about AD, not Liddle. Give it a rest.

Yep, it's always the guys that aren't there that people build up to be saviours but when they do play, everyone wants the next person in.

Right now the in-season players are Musgrove, Blore and Douehi

But in reality, Musgrove hasn't played NRL for 2 years, Blore has played half a dozen games and Douehi has played half a dozen games at 6 so far in their careers.

But obviously, us fans have no option but to believe and hope it works out. They will have to bide their time and have patient when they inevitably make mistakes due to lack of experience.
