No one doubted him. Not as far as I could see . People were rightly pointing out the flaws in his game , which was the lack of ball the edges were getting . It would get to him , and he would run , even with really good shape wider than him.
For me he’s really worked on this. The way he turns his hips now to engage the edge defender, creates the necessary deception for , Laurie to sweep out the back in the block play. He was at the start of the year , running his edges out of space .
That’s what everyone was critical of him about . Mbye showed him exactly how to run those plays. And now with how much more of a complete and dangerous footballer than Mbye ever was , he can go to the next level .
If Jack wighton can play origin , then it surely awaits for our future captain.

The squaring up of the defence creates the space and coz his such a big body, he'll always attract multiple defenders to him.
If Adam continues that form, Daine will be one of the biggest benefactors.
