Adam Doueihi #227

Your whole argument was that his 28% winning percentage is terrible. Find a Tigers player with a better winning % from the past few years and maybe your point will mean something.

We’ve been terrible with him and terrible without him. Who cares.

So let's just pick one of our worst and lowest effort performers when we are trying to build a positive winning culture for our promising juniors who need strong leaders that are exemplary in their actions - just because "ATown" likes him!

Resorting to memes…I cringe for you.

You seem very upset by all of this. Try and lighten up and enjoy the week dude, we finally had a win

If we are thinking of Adam in terms of 5/8 we may as wll cut him now. Im not sure why he is playing half in cup.
We dont need him in that position, barring a crisis of injuries.

In my opinion he would make a good benchie as he can cover the backline and play lock, maybe 2nd row, maybe even hooker.

When injuries hit the backline he starts at 4.

He has value in this role for the right price.
he needs to accept the 200 the club has offered him for next year, I told this to his cousin myself.
Not a chance could youplay him at Hooker - he doesn't have the smarts to read the play and get us on the front foot. The rest I think he could be servicable at the right price as you say - but let's see how he comes back before we give him another bite at the cherry.

Given your lack of ability to understand words and statistics that prove you wrong - it is appropriate.

I will only be happy regarding Doueihi when he pisses off at end of season - along with Nofa, Lee and Pascoe - he is the last remaining self-deluded oxygen thief remaining at the club from those dark days!

Ah yes your great statistics that mean literally nothing.

You were blabbing on about his 28% winning record at the club, I simply asked how many other Tigers players have a higher winning percentage in that time?….funnily enough I never got an answer to that question because it would completely torpedo your awesome statistics.

You should have just given up on your feeble statistics argument long ago and just said what you said in your second paragraph above.

And for the final time, I’m not even a Doueihi fan. I find his application to defence atrocious. He’s self entitled and should do what’s best for the team rather than pushing his agenda to play in the halves where he’s not needed. You just got severely butt hurt by your statistics argument going up in flames and have been ranting and raving ever since.

Now I’m truly done with this “discussion” thanks, it has been a complete waste of time.

Mister 5.8%

Go away Adam!!

Just state that you don't understand statistics - rather than making a fool of yourself!

The difference between Adam today and at any other point is he knows he has to earn every minute of game time. Gone are the people from his junior days telling him he is the next Laurie Daley. Gone are the dreams that he will get another chance regardless.

My speculation is he will defend better than we have ever seen. Ultimately, that was the largest weakness in his game. If he can defend, completely putting his body into tackles… well then options open up.

The second issue Adam has had is his ability to know when to run and when to pass. That is now even riskier as he will be desperate to prove himself.

With our injuries he is going to get a shot. It will be very interesting to see how it goes.

If our options under restrictions of the cap next year were to retain Doueihi under the current minimum wage offer or take up Sezer's option - I would be keeping Aidan for another year and letting Adam walk.

People who "remember" Adam Doueihi as a great player and fierce competitor are suffering from:

He did go well . But early doors everyone was watching him with the ball , and only a select few , of which I’m going to gloat about , I was one of them , were saying his defence was atrocious.
I remember having fierce debates on here about AD . Especially because you couldn’t criticise AD without it somehow being about Luke Brooks .
