OFFICIAL Adam Doueihi #227

[mtd#2]

The Douhei move has shifted my way of thinking going into 2026...

6. Luai
7. Douhei
13. Sione

14.Latu

Sione starts and does a job for 25-30 mins... Interchange with Latu, who acts as a pivot (whilst going on the prowl) pushing both Douhei and Luai a pass wider in attack, really starting to open up Samuela, KPP, May and To'a on their respective sides.. Latu holds his own in defence anywhere on the pitch, so defence is no concern... Then swap him for Sione again mid game then bring him latu back on for another spell toward the end when the game opens up again..

He played well, that cut out ball for Helter to score was the money ball.

Thoughts with AD.

Looked very rocked after the JT tackle.
Hopefully it isn't a fractured orbital like they're thinking.

Wasn’t good, was already swelling up before he left the field. Would say season over for him regardless.

Bloody shame .
He doesn’t deserve this

Any updates on Adam's well fare ?

Last I heard, fractured cheekbone and eye socket

[jadtiger]

I hope he makes a full and swift recovery and hope that this is the last of his injuries as he certainly needs a change of luck in that regard.

Sad to see, but why on earth wasn't Adam tackling with his right shoulder, as putting one's head in front of anyone's knees, let alone someone with Taumalolo's huge size, is just asking for trouble.

[Enmore_Tiger]

It seems he has tried to up his physicality in defence, but is a bit awkward at times.

[moetk]

Needs to be re-signed

Two more years after this season should do it

I suppose we can at least be grateful it's not an ACL, so he has plenty of time to recover.

rumours going around a fractured Skull and potentially retirement from rugby league. Any info or confirmation?

oh no really

He’s not as strong, or confident, tackling with the right shoulder as the left. I’m sure it’ll be etched in his brain now , head behind the legs, never in front !

As critical as I’ve been, that is rough, he’s had a terrible time with injuries. He just started to be a positive inclusion and affect the outcome of games. I hope it turns out better than initial rumours, and it’s just something that can heal over the break and back in to offseason training.
Good luck Adam
