Not buying the best player nonsense. He’s on a fairly low contract, has never locked down a position in the NRL, is injured often, and now has shown he’s not about the team.

If the club has any self respect it cannot. He should at least be made to sit the year out or play reserve grade.. Benji set the tone at the start of the year when he said if you don’t want to be here the there is the door,,, now the situation that AD has put him in he basically has to show him the door otherwise it’s just all hollow talk …
Reserve grade is made for situations like this. Opportunity for a decent redemption story.

The truth is coming out, AD is a footballer at the end of the day so you can understand why some decisions might be a little smoothed brained. He genuinely means well as does Benji. They are both professionals and love the club, they’ll work it out and continue working on getting the club out of this hole whether we think they are the right fit is irrelevant.
What’s not ok was the consistent false narratives labeling Doueihi as a villain and Benji as totally incompetent. These are coming from “in the know media”. The longer the Nrl allows this kind of behaviour to go unpunished the worse it gets. Daley has quick the nsw head job because of this.
You have to ask yourself where are the hidden agendas, is it managers leaking half truths or is it pvl/higher ups constantly turning a blind eye.
