OFFICIAL Adam Doueihi #227

Outside of that trial Makasini hasn’t shown much, think he’s been pretty injured.

But every now and then he gets early ball and shows a glimpse of what he can do, has been stopped right on the line a fair few times.

I’m excited to see him after another pre-season.
Same .. people forget the guy is 18!!! 18 playing against whiton , stagge, Crichton , Gagai, etc and he is improving the very week .. he will only get better

He’s 18. It’s not beyond the realm of possibility he has a Moses Suli career, never living up to potential. However, the fact we’re not seeing signs of the player he’s been built up to be, outside of steamrolling Edwards in the trial doesn’t mean anything just yet. Very few players his age come into first grade and dominate. Takes a generational talent to do that. Give him two years and he could explode.
Also, he is in a team that is not giving him much opportunity, he is getting some ordinary passes and has pretty much been used as a battering ram/workhorse out of the 20 all year running at a compressed lane of forwards salivating at the chance of putting a shot on the 18 year old upstart .. and he has not shirked it

I can't judge Douehie. He has put up with situations that would break most players - years of almost being the lone decent player trying to carry a team going backwards fast. Most of the good players jumped ship but Douehie went through it all for the club, including dealing with Madge and his tantrums. We saw how weaker personalities like Moses, Teddy and Galvin ran away to easier clubs.

Adam and Api are like a lot of WT fans - staying loyal and gutsy when many lame-arse players and fans of other clubs would have quit. It's a miracle he only had one meltdown. As for Api, his poise under pressure is almost superhuman.

What? Doueihi has onky played decent the past 2 years. He has been bog average before that. Hardly been a lone decent player

The only amusing moment of the game was Doueihi carrying on after he scored his try. If I was the chief playmaker for a team averaging under 2 tries a game, I'd keep my head down and shut up. But Doueihi has no self-awareness, like his partner Luai, who inplicitly mocked the team's woeful performance against St George, even though he contributes nothing to the team's attack himself.

I have little doubt Api & JL will be up for today. AD just needs to control the side and get the ball wide when it’s on.

Please don’t overplay.
Not often you see a post 100% wrong.
You couldn’t do that again if you tried lol….

Yep!

Not seriously having a go mate.
I thought they’d turn up as well.
There’s no hope n the horizon for this joint. They have well and truly given up.
We’ll get lapped by a hungry Dragons outfit after our holiday next week….and then the Roosters will go for the record.
Looks quite toxic there based on a few indicators. Benji tried to pull a reign and got disrespected. Not good.
