You mean the players who’s former clubs told them to look elsewhere ?
He’s a myth

So with him heading up recruitment and Justin Fiasco in charge of hat sales we’re screwed !

Daine Laurie and Stefano were not told to look elsewhere

By all reports...

Daine was wanted at Penrith but they couldnt promise him a position. We got lucky and they refused to release him early. Doesn't seem like he was told to look elsewhere.

Stefano too, he became disgruntled at the Eels after they mishandle his brother. He was too refused an early release.

I wish Pascoe, Hartigan and Madge could sort this club out I'm running out of patience. Seeing guys like Wayne Collins and Co bought in by the powers to be show me the club is not making the rite decisions.

The clubs been patient but how likely is it we see some wholesale changes after such poor seasons?

Surely Madge is not safe even if they portray this in the United front which they have been doing...

For us outsiders, what's the likelihood or are the club not transparent with this stuff with the fans?

I don't have any answers Demps. I'm incredibly disappointed at how this season has panned out as the club has supposedly improved it's high performance division and Madge brought on new assistants. I want the season to end now - I don't know if sacking Madge is the answer, but I'm not convinced he's the solution either - our game plans and ability to execute are not up to standard.

At least half of the team shouldn't be playing FG but we're not in a position to flick half the roster because we can't recruit anyone of note either.

Dark times ahead is all I see.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm at a loss also.
No idea how the team can be so bad.

The statement really hurts:
**At least half of the team shouldn't be playing FG but we're not in a position to flick half the roster because we can't recruit anyone of note either.**

They say the truth hurts and this is the cold hard truth.

Nofo and Brooks have regressed.
Team isn't improving.
Recruitment is non existentant.

Surely some one at the club is reading what the fans are saying and reporting it to the powers that be.
Something needs to change, drastically.

It's been years of this and it's getting lower and lower.

Mate I agree totally with every point you make. By the way, who are you and what have you done with the old Demps?

Really good question @demps Honestly I doubt they make a change at coach. I have been told time and again that there won't be a change.

Personally I would like to see a change at coach, the issue is who is the replacement? In my opinion every option comes with massive issues and isn't a high percentage chance of improving the club.

I would be looking at Gardiner with a lot of support from really strong assistants, I'm talking about people who have NRL experience i.e Dean Pay as a defensive coach, strong input from Sheens. Hartigan and Gardiner have a really strong relationship and will complement each other well and both have a good focus on development and pathways. The issue is he is not a big name so would he be able to help in fixing the issue of recruiting high profile players? I don't think so, so Sheens input in those discussions would be critical.

It is a really tough position to be in as a club and their is no quick fix to this mess.

I'm a big fan of Gardiner.

The Tigers had such a impact on the game during the Benji and Farah era. We attracted fans who would've grown up wanting to play for us... now it's like we are a shell. No one wants to play for us, people laugh at us and joke about us on TV.
We deserve better than this....

I've said it before but I serious think we need a coaches team consisting of..

Tim Sheens....
Brett Kimmorley
Robbie Farah
Johnny Morris
Brett Gardiner

A core group of very smart footballer minds that are relatable to the player, understand the modern game and understand the mind of a man/player.

Madge would make a great Nsw Cup coach to get the young guys ready for the big dance when they play grade but those other 5 could really build a dynasty and culture we've lacked for so long.

Trouble at the front desk starts and ends with the CEO. As far as I can see he is doing precious little to steer the club away from its troubles.

Something has to happen. The reputational damage this organisation has suffered in the last decade is horrendous. It's hard to see it ever being turned around to be honest.
