Adam Reynolds

There are reports that a rift has developed between Adam Reynolds and Michael Maguire. Talk is that Reynolds was upset about Maguire forcing him to play injured.

Reynolds was a late withdrawal from Saturday nights game vs Broncos. It's sort of makes sense in that it seemed like the Reynolds injury was quite serious and you don't often miss origin but play the following weekend.

Would you swap Brooks for Reynolds? Would be Very tempted.

No not really
Even though Moses and Brooks are not setting the world on fire they have a chemistry.

It will have a domino effect taking one of them out.

Beyond 2017; yeah sure

id take someone like Sam Williams to partner Moses, really just anyone that can kick

Yeah nah i wouldnt be swapping Brooks for Sam Williams.
Brooks for Adam Reynolds? Yep, Reynolds has a much better kicking game, is nearly the best goalkicker in the game and his defence is slightly better. We need a gun goalkicker ASAP in order to compete on a level playing field with the top teams and if you can have a representative player filling that void instead of some useless hack who offers nothing to the side apart from their goalkicking it is a massive bonus.

Just curious as to what difference it is gonna make if it is at the end of 2017 though? If Moses is going to be shattered by not playing with Brooks then that is not going to just disappear by season's end next year.

Adam Reynolds is constantly injured - misses a lot of footy for the money he would be commanding. Still would rather keep what we have got.

reynolds for brooks is a straight no brainier anyone that says otherwise really needs to stop being a homer

Dragons and Knights would probably chase him pretty hard if he came on the market. I'd rather stick with what we've got & hope they keep developing.

Reynolds:
- more expensive
- worse running game, much slower
- worse passing game
- more prone to injury
- not extremely good mates with 2 players we want to keep
- more likely to have peaked

I don't think it's a no brainer, there's positives & negatives both ways. I'd stick with Brooks. I think we'd play more entertaining football with him & I'd love to see us succeed with local talent at the core of the team in this era.

Not going to happen so it is a futile exercise even discussing it, but I would keep Brooks,he is on the up and Reynolds is probably hit the top and just starting the road down

I made a thread on Reynolds earlier

If we lost Brooks than I'd look at Reynolds

Put if we lost Moses I'd look at a more running half like Austin

It's good for your halves to have a balance skill wise
