Addo Carr signs with Storm...

Even though he is only 81kg, from his highlight reel, he seems to have reasonable upper body strength. There are numerous clips of him beating high tackles by shrugging would-be defenders.

He also demonstrates a few nice front on dominant tackles.

I think he looks to have loads of potential. Predict he will play some top grade year.

That's about the same weight as Larry Corowa in his prime.
Watching the highlights is also like watching Larry beat people (albeit Larry did it to the best players of his time) - if he can step up and continue it in the higher grades he'll be a crowd pleaser.

We have some speed and talent however, we need an offseason with Taupau running the Gym.
We need to add some muscle mass on our entire squad excluding Sue and Tauapau.

For someone who seems so quick his try scoring stats really aren't that great. In a comp with no defence you'd think he'll get on average a try a game but he hasn't.
Haven't seen much of the sharks but yes they weren't a great team in the nyc. Still if he gets the ball in space he scores…!
Koro's highlights would also show him monstering opponents in some tackles. Hopefully addo carr can take bombs and defend better than him.

Looks like a good prospect, wonder what the reason behind is for only signing him on a one year deal.

Cause we are relocating in 2017?

You are correct …to a new training facility...about time too....

Yes he has speed , but he needs to learn how to use it properly

Half those runs are like the quickest kid in Under 10 just circling the whole field , you don't get chances to do that too often at NRL level and when you try a good centre/winger shows you the sideline and bundles you out

Yeah true speed will only get you so far in 1st grade and you only get limited space.

Where is his 5 minutes of you tube highlights and someone doing a starting team with him as the next global rugby league superstar

Times have certainly changed

Welcome Aboard Larry Corowa , Man so much similarities….has pace to burn.

Brilliant pick up.

foreveratiger, me too, I immediately thought it was a Corowa clone.

If this guy is half as good…..... WOW!!!

This guy in an absolute gun. He is a centre/fullback but should be good enough to get a crack right away.
Carr and Chee Kam will be starting players for us by mid next year.

Must admit I like our player signing strategy but need some forward animals.
