Addo Carr signs with Storm...

If the cooling off period had passed, why would the Storm not have announced it already? Maybe there's some negotiations going on to release him.

Hope the kid stays, would be awful if he went to the storm after the tigers took a punt on him and everyone with a pair of eyes could see he has something about him.

The question is, why didnt the sharks try to keep him, when you could see in the 20s how exciting he was??

they've also got a gun player called Fa'manu Brown floating around, he's an asbolute gem of a player at age 21

they've got a solid backline really… might've been no opportunity there, either our win - especially if he stays around

Yeah good player Demps , but I can't see him playing anywhere but 6

Round 13, cooling off periods etc don't mean jack. If he doesn't want to go they won't force him.

Trouble is, the more time Bellamy has to get into his head and convince him the storm are a better career choice the more likely he is to leave.
Hopefully home is where the heart is !

Probably will mean little if he doesn't want to leave Sydney.

Geez I hope you are right, we get lucky and find a gem, and some how manage to mess it up, hope the family/Sydney ties combined with the fact he is a Weststiger supporter keep him here. 😛ray:

Melbourne are simply stocking up, they have bought 2 other Wingers/Centres from Q Cup… He might want to think long and hard before going?!

Melbourne are good at picking up the right bargains on the wing and sometimes centre, we could learn a bit from them.

Sporting news reporting that JAC has signed a 2 year deal with storm and although he wants out the cooling off period has expired and has to see out his contract with storm. Apparently signed the contract when frustrated with the tiger's leaving him out of the NRL team. If this ia true it really shows how incompetent our club is. A club in another state can see his potential and our officials see his ability almost every single day but have no idea

And that's exactly why JT has to go, everybody on this forum have been able to see his team selections were a joke until things were changed a couple of weeks ago and now we are losing players cause of his inability to drop and pick players on form. The bloke is a complete tool and totally incompetent.

Tigers have last rights on the contract until a certain round, do they not?

If not, claim "compassionate grounds."

Let's just hope it hasn't been announced by the storm because he wants to stay with us and i hope the tiger's are in negotiations with the storm to make it happen.

Exactly, that's what I'm hoping, his heart is with his family in Leichhardt.

I don't think so. 10 day cooling off period in place now and that has expired

Taylor won't be re-signed to a new contract, if you want to believe other speculation on the internet. Calm down.

Why blame Taylor - its Oneill's job to look after player welfare, retention etc. Why didn't he tell JAC that it was only a matter of time until he was a regular in firsts. Too busy micro managing Taylor, and finding the best deals on beer and pizza.

Didn't you know? Buckets only gets credited for the good stuff, like changes in team selections, players re-signing etc. All the bad stuff, well we have JT as the whipping boy for any bad decisions the club makes.

Sorry but I disagree on this point, O'Neill had barely put his bum on the seat of his position way back when JT was playing Buchanan and Milone. I'm saying that JT's team selections holding JAC back from first grade would appear to be the catalyst in him signing with the storm.

Agree diedpretty, a little communication goes a long way, you just get the feeling he was sitting in the nsw cup team with no idea what the tiger's had planned for him n thought stuff it I'm looking elsewhere and the storm would have told him everything he wanted to hear

That's where you're wrong the last few weeks I thought we have got our house in order in regards to dropping under performing players. So who deserves the praise for that?? JT or O'Neill?? If we are going to blame O'Neill for JAC not getting into first grade sooner then why shouldn't O'Neill get the praise now for our team selections, and the same in reverse. JT's team selections were laughable before O'Neill came on the scene, but his team selections have seemed to have improved somewhat. So has JT seen the light or is it that O'Neill is now sticking his nose in so to speak??

There has to be a reason why there hasn't been an announcement if the cooling off period has expired. The longer this plays out, the better its looking for us imo.
