After Benchy, another senior player must be dropped.

we dont have an NRL quality Centre in the club outside the top team, we need at least a depth signing in that position for next year

I don't agree with slagging off players old or new , they all have their ups and downs but true supporters stick by their players its called support , I think that's why we're called supporters.

don't start with the 'true supporters' crap. We support the CLUB first and foremost and then the players who play for that club but TRU support are those that demand quality from its players and support them as a result. TRUE supporters also criticise players when it becomes necessary rather than accept mediocrity.

Clapping and cheering mediocrity is not TRUE support, its BLIND support.

We have good back up throughout the club, except for the center positions.

Recruitment options for next year anyone?

Maybe not for next season , but I'm wondering if Potter may have Moltzen on a short list if and when he comes back

It would make sense as Moses and Austin seem to be in front of him as half. He also played centres under Sheens a few times (not that successfully, but he has). I think he'll leave if and when he gets fit.

All this moving positions smells like Sheens mischief to me. If Lawrence wants to move positions thats fine, but he will have to restart in NSW Cup untill he can prove he is a better back rower than Bodene, Fulton, Akoula, Siro etc.

As for Richards/Nufo. Richards moved to centre for a while in ESL and was god awful. He moved back to wing and won Man of Steel.

Nufo is a fantastic winger. Really good under the high ball and a bloody damn good finisher. Where is everyone getting this Nufo to centre business from anyway? I know he played a few games in SG Ball at centre but I'm pretty sure that was it?

But Lawrence has basically already been playing backrow, and with Lulia named on the bench this may be the beginning of the end of Lawrence's career in the backs. The only logical position Lulia can play is centre, which would see Lawrence shift to the backrow, hence giving us the extra forward that's lacking with 2 backs on the bench.

I'm not sure about the thinking with Lulia. I thought Luani was the extra forward, as Austin may play longer at 9 and Luani come back on as a second rower. is Lulia cover for injury, or cover for Sironen?

When I saw Lulia's name on the bench, I thought there may have been an injury concern that would necessitate a spare outside back. Then I saw Potter's preview video where he said Lulia had some backrow experience, and was selected in a utility role. I'm going to assume Potter knows what he's doing on that one. Seeing as Austin also played a bit in the forwards at Penrith, that bench mightn't be as daft as it initially looks.

As I said previously still think it is a smokescreen for Sirro , but we will wait and see

If not , I only have one explanation

Sheens has kidnapped Potter and is wearing a Mick Potter bodysuit

im surprised by the timing of this thread to be honest. admittedly, i am a big chris lawrence fan, and have been very happy with the improvement in his game in the last month (or so).

before his improvement, even i said he needed to be dropped.

but i dont think that he should be anywhere near being dropped right now. if anything, he seems to be playing like he is over the peak of the hill and the running should be much smoother from here on in. so to drop him after persisting with him now wouldnt be the way to go imo.

i agree with B&G re the true supporter stuff. i faced the very same criticism all the years i bagged marshall, but the reason i was so unhappy with him was because i thought he was detrimental to the TEAM i support wholeheartedly and was such a momentum killer who cost them so many vital points, and therefore matches.
it hurts when you feel you can see a player being detrimental to the team you love!

although i disagree, i respect that B&G sees lawrence as the teams weak spot atm and can empathise.

in any case, i wouldnt mind seeing austin in the centres if needed, even if just to see how he would go there. cant be any worse than lulia!!

Some of you have no business supporting the Tigers or League in general.

Seriously, how can u defend a has been or never was like Lawrence. He's supposed to be an experienced player yet I don't know anyone else in our history that's been pushed Into touch as much as this bonehead.

Game against Brisbane, watching it now and first tackle after a scrum gets pushed into touch.

Potter showed done balls and dropped Benchy last year, grow a pair and dump this muppet now!!!!

How can some of u say Lawrence has been on good form? !!!!! Baffles me! Either you have no idea or a fake supporter and blindly support anyone in our colours… NOT a true supporter!

lulia is struggling in attack big time.

lawrence is done. i mean, how many more years do we have to wait for him to do something. he ran out on the first tackle ffs… he has to play in nsw cup, he doesnt deserve to continue starting week in week out..

koro deserves a spot over both of them.

Koro…please! How many line breaks did Simona make? We lack a little direction and we are a work in progress. Disappointing because it was winnable, but we have let our expectations get too high because we have mongrel and can compete.

Getting taken over sideline was a poor error for someone that experienced, but in my opinion Koro would have been a turn style out there tonight!

It's not the first time this year he's run into touch. I think he did it against Manly as well (from memory on the 2nd tackle inside our 20) Complete twat of a centre. So freakin happy the coach is making his thoughts completely clear.

Starting to REALLY respect Mick Potter. Once again he showed that he's got balls and will make the tough decisions that Sheens couldn't or wasn't willing to.

Benching Marshall and then hooking Lawrence! FINALLY! Reckon someone told him that Black & Gold from this forum has been calling for Lawrence's head for a few weeks now? LoL

Seriously though, Lawrence is simply not good enough and needs a kick up the back side. The hooking was a nice whack! Drop him next and that may snap him out of it. Fancy getting pushed into touch on the first tackle? ONCE AGAIN! Lawrence is the king of being pushed into touch. UNFORGIVABLE.

Thompson, Lulia, Richards or anyone from the NSW Cup or 20's that can step up?

injured his knee- not hooked.

Selecting two backs in the reserves bench gave a strong inkling that one of them was to replace Lawrence during the match.

I thought that someone said that Lulia played as a forward when he came on?
