If the rumour is true that we are getting JAC and Johnson, then you'd think Johnson is going to play fullback.

At fullback, I'm not keen...hell...I don't even rate him as a winger!

Our current fullback is much better winger and fullback than Johnson. What a terrible waste of West Tigers of CAP money and Cap space. WEsts tigers have a huge bag of CAP money available and If Wests Tigers sign either or both Johnson and Gagai they will again be certainly seen as the fools' of NRL.

Yeah Robert Jennings looked like he was a better winger than what Wests Tigers had too...Johnston is completely uninspiring and would not improve the team at all.

For the right price I would say yes

Agreed. He has genuine pace, can finish and improves the quality in the outside backs.

well we wouldn't be paying full freight on him, so we will be getting a decent back with good speed. Partly solves the question of where we are going to get our backline pace from......

I don't think he would make our team any worse, and has played under maguire before so knows what to expect

I don't rate him at all. There are some players I will give a good boatload of chance, but guys like Johnson, Gagai... I've seen enough to be thoroughly disinterested.

If we were desperate for a backup winger, by all means. But as a frontline player, I think he's hopeless and he has the killer instinct of Tim Moltzen.
