Everyone keeps banging on about " if we get JAC". He has 2 years to run on his contract at Melbourne. Bellamy has already said he is going nowhere. Players might be able to walk out on contracts at our club thanks to weak kneed administration however I think its a big ask to expect Melbourne to let JAC walk out on his contract.

Where as I expect that when a child and his custody is involved it should be have been approved immediately and it does not matter where JAC ends up.

If we were signing a player from Souths at least Gagai would’ve been the better signing for like 500k a year - but no we go sign a nothing winger who’s Robert Jennings 2.0 that has no X factor whatsoever

Tigers dont need both though. Signing alex johnstone makes zero sense. Not a smart buy if it happens

Only way it makes sense is if we haven't been able to get LM.

And if we haven't been able to get LM, I suspect he will remain at the Roosters for 2020 until Souths can fit him in if they can't already.

My issue with the club..we let Matterson walk out the door and outside his cap value we got nothing and we made another club stronger. The same with Moses the previous year. Now we could be looking at taking AJ off Souths, who have been trying to offload him for yoinks. Once again we are making another club stronger and it is very debatable if we are going to be better off.

Maybe if we were seen to be hard nosed and ruthless instead of a door mat, we might have a little more luck in the market place. Let’s face it, the Dogs and the Eels never seem to have trouble attracting players even after a few crap seasons.

Just gets me down as it goes on year after year. Been a very long term member, but next season may just buy a LO membership, can’t see myself doing road trips to Parra or Cambo

That should be the case but we are talking about Melbourne. Its all a business to them. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Mate totally agree me personally I feel let down. I know the club doesn't owe me anything and they try there best it's just getting harder to accept losing and coming off second best. As much as I like Pascoe I think he needs to go.

I'm annoyed about the dumb decisions we continuously make and he has been here when we lost our best players. Recommended Cleary screwed our cap with Farah.

While not directly responsible for some of this I think if we aren't excepting mediocrity any more he needs the boot it's a tight comp and giving other clubs a leg up needs to stop. Also Johnston is not the answer to keep a lot of us happy.

can we please give nofo the fb spot, good acceleration, hard ball running option, fantastic finishing ability, would be lethal in attack coming of magic benji balls. come on madge lets get this guy Learning how to organise the d line and hed be a gun fullback similar to RTS IMO...also has a good short kicking game.
a back 3 of NOFO, AJ, JAC would be awesome!!

No!

I'd rather play Packer there.

Moses was a sook who tanked it
I remember a game against South's before he was released as I was there to watch it
It was a disgraceful performance by him and he needed to go
Matterson made it quite clear he did not want to be here and started causing waves
He also demanded a pay rise did he not
He should have just got on with playing the game
Thats what he was paid for
LM clearly does not want our Million $
We can't force him to come here
If his heart is not in it then we don't want him
I want players who want to come here and to be part of our team
Not selfish players who only think of themselves and always want more
It's the young kids these days that think they deserve everything to be handed to them on a silver platter
It's about time many of them started to earn it 1st and ask later
You have a contract then fulfil it
I don't know all the ins and outs but no way do I want the Club I support bow down to some of the these players

For me if we sign AJ type of player we get an upgrade on what we already have ...... Upside is that we get more speed, good fullback option, we don’t break the bank assuming he transfers on a subsidised deal by Souths, a relatively experienced and still young guy that wants to play for us.
Of course we can all continue to fanaticise that not buying players from Souths, Titans, Cowboys, Melbourne etc. Etc. Will somhowe deliver us our golden child.

Imagine if we took AJ so JAC and LM can fit in at Souths.

Not possible. Arrow should be announced officially soon for Souths. They have replaced like for like money to get him.

AJ should be announced tomorrow if not this afternoon. JAC needs the release from storm. Once that’s done he will sign with tigers.

Hey NSG, really appreciate your input and scoops.
You’ve post Will a few times and I understand negotiating changes but can you put some garnish on top of your sauce?

If we miss Lm we better top off AJ with JAC! Us fan need something big!

There’s a reason Johnston has been shopped around for nearly 18 months, and there’s also a reason why no one else has taken him in that time.....

It will be interesting how much south's (if true) pay Mitchell. Someone here stated NRL HQ has rule where contract salaries are checked against market value to ensure whatever, I won't say fairness and equality. WT offered LM a public amount of something like minimum $900k growing each year to around $1.2m. What if he signs for less at south's? What is supposed to happen?q
Edit- oops, wrong thread mods can you please shift to Mitchell's thread.

People need to understand that we are not getting LM (If so it would of been done by now) so we need to look at options as we are short of backs. AJ might not be a superstar but he is young, has speed and is an upgrade from most of our current backs.. I say give him a shot as there not much left out there for us to spend money on.

what's even worse is we are taking a player which allows them to sign Latrell Mitchell...wow

Surely this can be real?

Yes this is a joke! And we are the punchline

We already have 2 midget manufactured fullbacks.

Until there's firm evidence of Alex Johnston signing with the Tigers, t's all just the word of somebody who swore that Latrell Mitchell and JAC were also signing with us.

imo in our back three we have room for one of thommo or Nofo, we've seen Thompson now id like to see nofo as i believe he has more talent. i don't think either should be on the wing.

Now if Arrow is released as Mr S Gun the 2nd has posted, Souths will need to either offload a few more players or come up with some Easts style accounting. Of course a player swap with the Chargers could be on the cards or Trell might even now end up at the coast.

I think there is one given..he is not coming to Concord
