Alex Seyfarth #232

Good signing. Alex is a very competitive player, chases everything, tackles hard, runs hard, something a couple of our other younger players could aspire to.

Love this re-signing. Had concerns he might have injured himself at the worst possible time. He's on the up.

🔥🔥🔥
The Fire-Brand.

He's as good as Egan Butcher IMO.
But came from within our ranks.

Wish we could've held onto Papz n Suli from this team as well.

Very average young player

Any positives ??

He has heart. I’ll give him that.

happy with that. local junior, bit of a fan favourite and seems that everyone around the club is a big fan of his. congrats Red!

I thought we screwed up big when we let McIntyre go and signed Seyfarth instead. Glad to say I was wrong. I haven't seen the doco but from on-field behaviour, I feel Seyfarth has been one of the only people in the team who actually cares.

I feel that we are weeding out the weak willed.

BJ will be gone, Mbye gone, Packer gone, Mikaele up in the air.

There's a couple more that could probably go after that but those guys are a good start. Resigning Seyfarth is a good move. Good attitude and likes to get out there and use his shoulders.

Yeah it definitely has that sort of feel about it doesn't it. Majority of the team that'll be left after this season ends seem to be blokes that Madge has either given them their 1st Grade debuts or legit team first sort of blokes.

I feel Hastings will be the sort of bloke who buys into Madge's philosophy and embrace it. From what I've seen of him in UK he's a massive talker, super passionate and gives it 110%. Bit like a Josh Reynolds sort of character but with far more skill and natural ability.

I could be reading into things too much but I think there's a two paced approach with Madge. I reckon he's harder on the kids so that they are more hard nosed than the older fellas who have been mollycoddled by previous coaches and management.

Gildart ❌

Yeah not sold on Gildart, he seems to be injured a lot and never playing the matches I watch. Definitely has abilities in attack though his D is dubious.

I hope everyone lad makes a great career at the Tigers.

If they're good, we're good, we all succeed.

But yeah, if he gets run over in super league most weekends, it sounds like another failed English outside back to add to the tally. Unfortunately.

Yeah very possible. I also feel it's his way of instilling discipline into the younger ones as many from the younger generation seem to lack that. He's definitely tough on them when he needs to be however after watching the doco there's is definitely a softer father figure side to him as well which they sometimes need.

He’s come on strongly works hard and has a great attitude. No brainer for mine not out of place in first grade and still young.
