Alex Seyfarth #232

Another year older, for the Baby Giraffe! We trust that your birthday is filled with long strides, high jumps, and plenty of snacks from the tallest shelves. Here's to you finally growing into your giraffe like limbs and mastering the art attacking football and defensive prowess 😅

From your fans here at Wests Tigers, thanks for keeping us all amused and occasionally mesmerised. Have a great one, big fella!

If we are talking about his position to be right side SRF was hoping we could recruit a stronger player there but doesn't look likely now have an open mind stand up Alex and show us what you've got.

It’d be good to have a dominant Ranga in the side, and yep, Big Red would do me too Hank.
It’s an honour to have that nickname init?
Certainly would be an honour and like you say, we need a dominant ranga in the side like a Big Keiffy.

If he does end up being a Richard Head, hope he doesn't put his head in the wrong places like that other Ranga, "Big Papi."

article in Tele saying he’s likely to start on an edge. I like it - big and rangey - will be a handful.
Here it is, an AAP written article.

Interesting excerpt ...

Hole running was a big part of the Wests Tigers’ attack when Benji Marshall was running around in the halves, and it could make a return this year with former Tigers fullback Brett Hodgson joining the coaching staff.

“It’s a little part of my game which I enjoy,” Seyfarth said.

“I think in the juniors and SG Ball, I played a bit more in the back row before I transitioned into the middle, so it’s something I know quite well.

“Brett Hodgson has come in this year as one of the assistant coaches and he’s really hyped on playing through the middle and hitting leads (lead runners) a lot.

“I think that will suit my game.”

If he can hit holes like Garner I will be a happy chappy
