Its not just you. Nothing gets under my skin more than seeing our side standing back 10m waiting for the attack to come to them. Every single tackle you can take at least 5 metres from an attacking team. it just takes desire and a will to win. Each new season I pray for this defensive juggernaut to emerge, but ive been waiting more than half my life.

First thing i said today at kickoff was "let's see our line speed". Same as always, non existent. I just don't get it.

I reckon we could sign Jaz Tevaga right now if we wanted him and he at least tried to defend with line speed and hit hard.
We need more than just him, but he’d help in the short term.

No that’s the point, we have no possibility of signing someone straight away if they are already playing NRL for another team.
Plenty of very good players stuck in reserve grade for other clubs that are much better than our NRL starting players.

I'll admit I was wrong. I was never confident as I watched him in SG Ball and thought he was ordinary then, but for some reason I saw something in him the last two years. Well he was just handed to ultimate opportunity and failed. Not just today, but the last trial to.

We desperately need a lock.
