Firstly, Twal is playing out of his mind this year - the best form of his career. He is literally charging the ball up, offloading effectively and often providing a link between the forwards and backs, ala Isaah Yeo. Secondly, I think Pole is actually playing better than at the end of last year. He is running harder and straighter and playing the ball faster. It's a relief to see that he's abandoned the ridiculous hop and incessant stepping before the line in favour simply belting it up. I was worried about his arm grabbing defense in our first game but he seemed to eradicate it yesterday and tackled well.
