Alex Twal #206

Firstly, Twal is playing out of his mind this year - the best form of his career. He is literally charging the ball up, offloading effectively and often providing a link between the forwards and backs, ala Isaah Yeo. Secondly, I think Pole is actually playing better than at the end of last year. He is running harder and straighter and playing the ball faster. It's a relief to see that he's abandoned the ridiculous hop and incessant stepping before the line in favour of simply belting it up. I was worried about his arm grabbing defense in our first game but he seemed to eradicate it yesterday and tackled well.

What about Sione ? Is he better than Pole now ?

Interesting to read everyone's praise for Twally now, wasn't that long ago there were calls for his head.

Always had it in him, when he first came across from Parra I thought he was good, his dips in form mainly happened because of injuries/niggles.

Yes Steve …it’s amazing how people’s opinions change when you go from plodding to one of the best players on the team 😂
