Honestly I would have been happy with the pie and coke, he needed to go

But what if you are a diabetic vegetarian, maybe vegimite sandwich and a bottle of water????

If that floats your boat then fine.

If he came out and said ‘I got offered money way too good to say no to,and I really need the tigers to release so I can take it up.im looking out for myself and my family’ you’d almost understand.
Oh well,we got a player who is probably better.
Good luck Josh,enjoy Manly 🦅

Understand why the club needs to keep it confidential, but I do worry about the next player that has a break out year. Seems pretty easy to get more money when they over perform but impossible to pay them less money when they over perform.

Do you understand WE RELEASED HIM coz it suited us to do so.

The next sook may need to play out his contract if it doesn't suit us to release him

We'll likely do the same thing if it happens again. Find a player unwanted at their current club and take him because we need a replacement within 2 weeks.

Very different to what the Storm do.

Dont be naive.

The Storm's predicament has EVERYTHING to do with the player not sooking or saying crap like 'I'll never wear that jersey again'.

100% if Jac did what Aloiai did he would be gone from the Storm.

Okay champ.

If you think players sooking to get out of contracts happens at the top clubs you’re the one being naive.

Some people need to understand, that even though we are fans and are fanatical, there is no reason what so ever for the club to share any of its financial dealings with us at all. It’s no ones business but the clubs and the individuals involved.

If you want input or information, become a member of the leagues club and run for a board seat. Or apply for the CEO job next time it comes up.

I agree, but when you have blokes like kempy who runs the locker room on Facebook (biggest rl page for content) making claims and saying stuff like “if you knew what actually went down and not what the higher ups want you to believe”. It paints the tigers in a very bad light because he has a huge following

Apparently he “knows” what actually happened and the tigers and manly offers were about the same, according to him (once again no idea how he knows)

I love the guys content but according to him the players can do no wrong, and he will defend them to day dot

Who cares what nobodies on FB have to say,...it’s a cess pool constantly spewing crap.....

Will most likely get published in the news paper, they feed off social media. That’s where I’m trying to get at

True. Not a shot at you mate, just hate social media. But if you took that away how would our exemplary journalists get their info......?‍♂️

I don't know about that. There was a reason the Capons seemed pretty happy to let Latrell go.

I as well others agree. But its Rugby League and because of its nature we will see this again and again. Unless there are rule changes. Happens to all clubs and is more prevalent with clubs that obey the rules. I am sure this happens elsewhere where the rules are broken and we are no privy to the agreements of the payments. You can navigate around with creative a counting and that happens everywhere in business. Be it right or wrong. Whether we like it or not.

Can comfortably hate Josh and his bizarre views now.

But man, Manly have made some good signings to be fair. They should really improve next season.
