Yes - I understand Josh wants to weigh up offers - we all would. But, the club needs resolution one way or the other. If it doesn't have that it can't move on to other needs/ opportunities.
Obviously, I don't know the 'real story' but if negotiations have been ongoing for some time, the club decided it needed a decision rather than having to wait and potentially miss out in a narrow window of opportunity should Josh decide to move on.
I think this is the problem the club drag out negotiations ala LM & JAC and get smashed when there only being used as a bargaining chip or they place a deadline and get smashed when the players go else no win situation maybe the club is approaching things differently after being burned paying players what their worth to play for WT'S and not be held as bargaining tools for managers and players not before time hope the Packer Mbye and Jrey days are over.
