Have to agree with that, although he has matured over the last few years. He is also big enough to play in the forwards and has done before, and as a lock, his defence is excellent. Age is the problem with Braith though, how many years will we get out of him ?

Sheens has clearly identified that we are weak in the front row, hence chasing Cashy, Mason and Rose. Yet we sign Anasta, who wouldn't have come very cheap.

Either he feels that by this time next year Groat, Woods, Bell, Murdoch-Masila, Moors et al will be up to it… or we must be close to closing on a prop for next year too... Surely?

With rumours of us signing Leilua. That could cover Tuqiri and Ellis sort of but with next to no spend. With Tuqiri probably not being retained. Moltzen having no position when Tedesco returns, so he's gone. Heighington off contract and looking past it. Rumours of Ayshford going back to the Roosters.

Ugh this is going to be a weird year.

Im happy to sign Braith, I saw him more as an edge backrower, think that he played his best football in year in that role in 2010.

I reckon it is a signing to allow time for the crop of kids in the system to come through and develop.

Where are you getting the Ayshford info from? he's signed for another 3 years. Heigno's off-contract next year

Beats me. Someone on the forum said we were looking at swapping him for Leilua.
