After the kick for touch and try was worried. But congrats to him he is a big guy and he muscled up hope he continues. If brooks continues to defend we will have defence weaknesses

Yep apart from the obvious touch kicking mishap Braith was good today.

He showed his experience and and a cool-head to set up Richards' 2nd try.

I saw Anasta make a couple of really good tackles come across the back of the line in cover.

His best game for us by far. Started off okay, and I was calling for his head after the kick for touch that lead to the try, but did well to come back composed and finish a solid game. Impressed in defence too, some good reads there and generally reliable.

Even Blair was good. No silly penalties or dumb errors and got through a lot of work in attack and defense. But he went off after 15 and came back when we were up by 22 and smashing them.

Wasnt anything special but if he can play like that every week he will be a nice foil for the emerging Brooks.

Just did what he is supposed to do IMHO, the kick for touch was a piss poor effort though.

Was pleasantly surprised. Apart from the horrible kick for touch he was decent. The pass for Richards second try was pure class. A lot of inexperienced halves would have seen the man open, rushing defence and thrown a panic pass or kicked. He showed a cool head and played it perfectly.

His game today was nothing more than acceptable. Terrible mistake to not find touch with that kick when the game was in the balance. I also thought some of his last tackle options were poor….grubbering for touch on the 4th when we had them on the rack early in the 2nd half????

I thought he was Johnny Morris like in the way he stifled the attack a few times when it was given to him o the left. Surely Austin has more to offer.

I have never like him but....

All things considered this is what we call a top game from a veteran..
Earned back a bit of my respect with todays performance

But all that was built around a TEAM effort
Everyone stepped up and took responsibility, the forwards, the halves, the backs..

If only some had done well and the rest only ok then the results would have been rubbish and we would still ripping into Anasta tonight

Amazing what a good effort and a win does for both the Team and the fans !!

Pretty much the only black cloud from yesterday for mine is that having had one ok performance we'll now be stuck with this utter nuffie for another two months minimum.

I've got all of last season plus round one telling me he won't, though. He's a past it, nothing player who disappears when the going gets tough then whines to the media.
