And thats why.....

we cant win the comp and probably, yet again, wont even make the 8.

Cayless…..dear god!!!!
Moors......less of him "moor" of someone else
Farah....shocker!!! That touch finder and the intercept and give straight back changed the momentum of the game
Moltzen....geez i hope thats not the way his career is going
Daniela.....no value, even if we got him for nothing
Heignington.....no discipline
Ellis.....worst game ive seen from him. Assume he has an issue with his eye cause he did nothing after that
Lui......ive seen better players get less chances
Fitzy.....no speed, no size, no skill, no direction, wouldnt make Maitland 4th grade
Flanighan....nothing

The rest....luckily those above made then look good.

Agree on most… Moors was decent today showed alot more than last week as did Flanigan. Lui was not bad... hes kicking was great and shouldnt have got hooked... Moltz def should have

Moors was good. One bad pass but other than that he was quite effective.

Agreed, made good metres and was strong carting the ball up. He's still not a prop though, but did a reasonable job.

Oh Dear …..I didn't take long....

May as well just give up now.....

I agree on Heighno. He has given away a stack of penalties this year. Trials and Comp Rounds. When he use to concentrate on his own game he was a great player. I still think he is a good player but the penalties have to stop.

I thought Heighno and Flanigan were good today…..at least they gave a stuff about what was going on out there, both gave their all.

Boiling day and under lots of pressure from the roosters Hieghno was really solid I thought made 36 tackles, almost 100m in attack and set up a try with that beautiful inside ball - he gave away 1 penalty / Moors on the other hand ok he wasnt horrible but he missed 5 tackles and only made 69m in attack and only 17 tackles all up (so missed 1/5) hardly made any meters even when he was involved - I think Fafita showed he should be there over Moors

Moors penetrated better than any other forward. Forget the stats, they make a player like Heighno look like a superstar, they mean nothing.

They both played well. Heighno does give away penalties and they kill us but he also tries his backside off.

Cayless looked to be getting it together but maybe should be playing in the lower grades until he does.

I said it last week Robbie simply is not at the top of his game. He has the ability but it is a major concern because it has been going on for a while. We need him on his game and maybe some better impact in the forwards will help him.

We have plenty of talent - Fifita and Schirnack should be on the bench again next week. Fifita looks like the solution to another metre eating damaging prop and Schirnack is one of those damaging 2nd rowers.

Lui is good but he has never stuck me as having the same ability as Fifita and Schirnack. I'd be giving them a go over Lui atm.

Cayless needs to go to Bunnings and buy some cement and harden the duck up!

Moltzen must be carrying an injury I noticed last week he was grabbing at his chest late in the game, he should be halfback.
Fafita better be in the run on side next week he is a monster and has a go.
But its only round 2 so im not that worried ,I still think we will have a good year just need to fix up the Defence.

We gave up 44 points today…..nobody was good, with another off season of pot plant signings appart from one, and a tired, pig headed coach in charge Ive seen nothing to suggest this year will be any different from the previous 4

There were still 2 competition points up for grabs today. Could have made things easier in Round 22.

Seiously…it was a gazzillion degrees and we had numerous last minute line up changes that surely couldnt have led to cohesion.

Obviously we had a bad day at the office. Have you never had one of those days?

Head up, the sun will come up in the morning.

See you at the game Friday

Your Point?

Sure it was hot and there were players out. However we normally seem to play round 2 in Townsville. No its not season over because you lose one game. I don't think anyone is expecting the team to win every game. But we need every competition point we can get. It was a bad day at the office but conceding 44 points to the team that finished 16th last year might be a concern. I don't want another year when we need to win 4 out of our last 5 to make 8th place. I can understand the point Spaceman is making.
