And the reason NSW has lost two (2) in a row ...

We picked a coach whose performance was based on cheating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bellamy never had heart. Bellamy ran NSW into the ground while his team won comps and CHEATED!!!!!
:imp: :imp:

I realised that late in the heat of passion Captain but thanks. If we should have won it was the last two years and we failed big time so my point remains

Andy Raymond confirmed that he is still contracted to coach NSW, obviously dependent on whether is found to be involved in the cheating itself.

I don't think its been the coaching, but the players picked and the combinations that have led to us losing.

One would think he had some idea that the squad in Melbourne would have to be above the cap.

I would stand him down as NSW coach until it is known for sure what involvement he had.

Would also use the opportunity to sack the selectors.

Bring in Gould (never thought I would say that) as coach/sole selector and I think we will win.

Gould will never coach the blues again, or not until the administration is changed.

Bellamy is still a good coach, he does get the best out of his players.

Word coming out of Melbourne is that he will be lucky to have a job soon.

bellyache did nothing wrong - he knew nothing - he saw nothing - he is clear and I heard his job as origin coach is safe so why shouldnt his melbourne job also be safe? 😕

simple, queensland prepared far better in all areas of the game than NSW.
they get in contact with players who they think maybe picked for qld squad, and let them know what is expected of them to earn them a place on team to play for qld.
they have a coach who does not have a job coaching fulltime in NRL, so he can soley concentrate on the Origin series
fail to plan, = plan to fail

Why we lost and will continue to lose = Laurie Daley!

And Bozo Fulton, how Brent Kite, Josh Perry and Jamie Lyon get considered for Origin year in year out is beyond me.

The old boys club want old fashion players that are better at niggling then skill, which is why the likes of O'Donnell, Ennis and Bird (Who was meant to be 'the next Wally Lewis'). Throw in Bellamy's game plan's which are designed around these players with no skill and its no wonder NSW cant score a point.

With the sides they select, NSW need about 60% possession to outscore QLD's attack.

Hahahahaha what a stupid thread…....

Do you really want me to point out to you why NSW has lost the past 4 series?

There are three main reasons.

#1 The NSW teams picked continually show no heart on the field...no passion either. It's all about the individual and not enough about the team. Queensland thrive on this and usually are half way towards victory before they have even stepped on the field.

#2 NSW origin is one of the biggest boys clubs in Australian sport. The selectors have no idea what it takes to win they pick their mates year after year...regardless of form.

#3 We are just plain better than you. Our players are bigger, faster, stronger and more talented. These things go around in cycles at the moment QLD's teams are far superior. They are starting to come back to the field a bit now though as some of the legends are getting old.

With the amount of injuries to key QLD players this year as well as the Storms disruption to their reps, if NSW dont clean sweep - and clean sweep well this year than they never will.

Whatever Stryker, you just gave up for QLD, pathetic. Why use the Storm problem to concede that NSW was going to win this year no matter what? Origin is not about injuries or cheats.

No you clown, whats pathetic is you claiming that Bellamy threw the series two years in a row to protect his players  open your eyes man your side is crap.

Lets pick this up after Bellamy is dropped and NSW win. It was said with sarcasim (albeit with too many!!!) but if Bellamy was in on the rort at the Storm he should not have been coaching NSW

I think whoever is coach should be able to pick all the players. The selectors job should be to select the coach.

Also Bellamy shouldn't be NSW coach. He was made coach because they thought he was good because of the success he had at the Storm. Well we now know that success was false. They should choose someone who isn't a coach of an NRL club. Gus Gould, Peter Sterling or Andrew Johns could be good but I don't think they are interested because of their other commitments.
