Andrew Fifita tells junior rugby league referee: ‘I’ll smash you’

Hes having a special game today….drop kick of the highest order

Clearly thinks hes above the rules of the game, and the law

The ''me'' generation...Im owed everything and its always someone elses fault

You don't need a qualification to play footy. Half these guys would be professional dole bludgers if they had no ability to play the game.

The refs are taking great delight in penalising him today that is for sure. Gus is slipping into him big time as well.

Fifita has really become a professional pest trying to milk penalties at every chance. Referees keep falling for his tricks.

Gave away 3 penalties in a row for ill disciplined acts. I am happy Sheens punted him.

Don't be tricked. His ill discipline is all part of unsettling the opposition.

The cronulla jersey is the closest he should get to a sky blue one ever again, he's useless and it sounds like he's in trouble with his abuse of a ref which is totally unacceptable. He's a thug

Shit…Matt Lodge was there too

yeah, seen that on Ch9…. Thing is they only said he was there at the time. Was pretty poor mention by ch9 as they didn't say what his involvement was.

Yeh, you see the Fiffita brothers in his instagram photos a lot. The other tigers boys give it to Lodge a lot. Doesn't sound like there's much between the ears when you read the comments he makes.

It's hard to pin it all on a generation Ink. Fifita's a knob, for sure, but he's not too far removed from the likes of Teddy, Lawrence or Taupau. All young blokes and outstanding and upstanding members of the community.

Youre right VT…many many of their generation are outstanding young people.
Sometimes the bad eggs cloud our judgement and in my case, generalise

Good description Ink, can't put brains in statues. The article I read claims that the ref actually felt threatened or was in fear (can't recall the exact words) which is technically an assault, won't go that far. Would like to see them suspended at least until after they play Wests Tigers, this will test where the NRL is at in regard to player conduct.

What do you expect when the refs at the top level of the game roll over whenever these clowns step up to them? Start showing some balls and maybe the respect will filter down.

The Fifita boys are a pair of twats. Glad they're away from the club. Always said Andrew had a crap attitude.

Bogan you are being far too harsh

They were angry as their local KFC couldn't supply enough buckets of chicken

You need to see it from their point of view and be more understanding

Wouldn't expect anything less from Gus. Penrith have been working very hard to clean up junior league only to have it in the media for the wrong reason again.

Judging by the Sharks CEO's comments today, this pair are in for a very rough ride if the charges against them are proven. Can't imagine the NRL being lenient with two very large and aggressive NRL footballers making physical threats to junior league match officials and generally acting like a couple of bogans
