Andrew Fifita

Something is going on there…Fifita looked very frustrated on the bench at not being out there. If he has signed elsewhere then let him go now!

Even more ridiculously stupid when you consider we ran out of interchange and played the last 5 mins or so with 12.
Yes injuries occurred, but the interchange bench was botched big time last night.
The commentators even commented on Galloway having a very short spell….
...and now we wait...

I thought it was pretty negative. At 15-2 we get a penalty from the kick off, Sheens should've brought him on and looked for the killer blow.

That is exactly right.
Also if he was using him so well and it was working the past month, why change tactics now? i could not believe he put him on so late in the game. talk about crushing a players confidence. fifita would have been flying high and ready to destroy the rooters yet he freezes his ass off for 72mins on the bench.

Was an absolute joke but do we expect any better from the supercoach? At 15-2 was the perfect time to bring fifita on, no way in hell they would have stopped him close to te line, the roosters were shot.

seriously he just defies belief sometimes

Can anyone put any truth to the rumour about fifita signing with the dogs? Very disturbing if true.

Andrew is not going anywhere. David on the other hand is looking for an opportunity to play FG and fancies his chances at the Dogs. Personally I reckon he's better off persevering at the Tigers as he has shown some good improvement in the backend of the season.

I would of thought David would be better staying at the tigers as it might have one side next year and with that more opportunities…. going to the dogs does not gauretee a 1st grade spot.

It was a stupid decision to keep him to that time of the game to introduce him. The Roosters were starting to get on top and he should have been out there than when they were making inroads.

I would have brought him into the game when we were attacking their goal-line midway through the 1st half. He would have barged over for sure.

After Farahs field-goal we stopped scoring. Another try there and we win. You can been in an arm wrestle and score tries.

why not dwell on how Sheensy had the team cherry-ripe for the game - and that his coaching enabled us to dominate for 60 minutes???

our demise had very little to do with the coach flip!

PS - it is FIFITA not FAFITA!!!!!!!!!!!

The Fonz is a poor coach. He is a disgrace. You all sound surprised ??

No. He's not a poor coach, he's no disgrace, but hes no supercoach and he does make some strange choices.

I really think Fifita should be getting more game time.

Fair dinkum he's gotta be losing match fitness atm.

15 before halftime and midway through the 2nd half at the very least and get him to rip and tear.

I understand he has been great this year but the only standout last light from him was innefective hitups and poor and slow marker defence and line speed.

Confident if Sheens or Folkes sits him down this week he will imprive.

Looked overawed by the occasion last night for me.

Send him out for the Magpies today and give him 40 minutes

Good call, I'd give him some gametime for the Magpies. Last night's game was played at a good pace and this is one area that big Andy needs to work on as his lateral defence and marker defence are his weakest areas at the moment. Another off-season will do wonders for him, Dwyer and Lui IMO, they've all got good football brains but further physical development will help them for next year.

i rarely question sheens thoughts on his bench and it's use.i have agreed with his selection policy of a back on the bench all season, and fully grasp why.

but playing fifita in the last 10min is a major mistake in my eyes.
you need to play him during the grind of a game.
to have him come on when a team is most likely to play hot potato is a huge disadvantage for him even when he is fresh.

Good call! His attack is his huge weapon but it's no secret that he needs to work on his defence. If you put him out on the last 10 minutes and expect him to do some goal line defence…Hmm.... doubt he can pull it off TBH.
