7th… place…
Liddle will come onto the side

This is probably our only hope as it will change the dynamics of the team and about bloody time.

Has any of you crisis merchants had an actual look at the ladder ? If we win next week , at worst we will be equal 8th (9th) with the panthers and sharks. If the sharks lose then in 8th spot. ( the dragons are to the sharks as the roosters are to us). Put the nooses’s away and calm down. Manly have 3 in doubt(including DCE), and we always lose to the dogs.

9th is as 9th does.

Nothing will change until we recruit mentality. This squad and it's so called main players are mentally weak.

Well at least one of them is gone at the end of the year. I love Rowdy, but maybe his time is up too

Lol Farah is one of the most mentally tough players to ever lace on a boot.

If we win next week we will make the 8. Very simple this team either rebounds and gets better or we get flogged. Destiny is in our own hands if we win out we will make it Panthers and Broncos play each other. Broncos meet Souths later on also and Penrith play the Roosters. We play the Sharks at Leichhardt. We win next week and we will be favourites to make the 8. It’s a big IF but our season is not over yet.

@TYGA exactly!
Do the ladder predictor and you will see how bad , the other teams around us’ draws are. If they win enough to get through , then they will deserve it. Otherwise , it’s a lottery draw, with despite our loss last night, us having a high percentage of coming out on top.

May not be lacing on a boot again - just announced he has a crack in his knee

So broncos getting a rails run and we will get no favours. Willing to bet that Garner isn’t quite as lucky as Burgess.
So where is this all heading?
I just wonder whether the criteria for remaining in the NRL will include a dot point about percentage of years in the top eight. Just saying........
I’d ask the games CEO but I haven’t seen him since March

Probably going to be a Storm v Roosters GF again this year anyway, and probably the year after that as well. The NRL is gonna end up being boring as bat shite in years to come with only a handful of teams (max 6) fighting it out for the honours each year, while what is left of the culled teams can go whistle Dixie.

You can bet you last Dollar Garner is found guilty... We are not a chosen team and that alone just pisses me off.. How can Burgess and Jake T get off and we get done... It blows my mind he even got a charge..

He got suspended for 1 week

@hobbo1 I knew it would happen but am still gobsmacked... I don't know what he was to do to avoid it -
1. Tackle him like he did as Lewis had the ball and just passed it and he would not of known this as it was so close (this happens every game)
or
2. Don't tackle him at all and let Lewis stroll through for a try..

Lets see what happens to the next tackle like this

I truly believe the NRL has a hidden agenda against us and it is so obvious. How is this worse them the Burgess and Jake T tackles that were dangerous and Moylan had to leave the field and have a week off.

Vent over :rage: :rage:

Let’s see if the dogs player gets a week !

He was charged took the plea so gets a reduction of 50 points..free to play..

Garner had 35 carry over points so taking the plea would have still seen him miss a game..

It's rediculus..Whitehead same at Canberra took the plea so free to ply

I’m pretty much over the NRL and it’s workings ..
I’m glad I enjoy my job !

I have been saying for years football under the NRL is administered differently for teams that are supposedly on the same level. It is getting so blatantently obviously unfair that there is no credibility in any of the decisions they make

it's always someone else's fault right?

we can blame the nrl and greenberg all we want- the reality is you can't blame one person in the organisation. Where Melbourne is now wasn't built in one or two years. As I said in anoher thread, we are getting better, all other teams are getting better quicker than us.
