Heard a rumour on 2GB this afternoon saying that the Anthony was going to join hid mate Anasta at the Tigers. It would be a 1 year deal.

Did anyone else hear that rumor.

This would be a great signing given Teddy's injury and the fact it takes 18 months to recover from an ACL. Where does this leave moltzen? If this is true, We can kiss 2012 season good bye!

Roosters seem to want everyone over 25 out of their club no matter how many years service they have given.
Minichello would be a better back up than Moltzen for the fullback position plus he can play wing.

I'd have him. He plays with energy and vigor, puts his body on the line. I know people will say we have young teddy but he might be eased back in after the injury, still young enough to play NYC. He is our long term fullback, thus I think a one year deal with mini could be an astute signing

I think your right stripes, I can see that being the reason this rumour has come about.

Mini has a lot of time for Teddy as they both played together in the italian team he should be able to teach him a thing or two.

If we're going to keep going for these old guys, I wouldn't mind going for Alfie Langer. Thought he was terrific for Brisbane last night. At his age still going for a good 60mins.
Not only keep their attack organized, but somehow does not count in their interchange….... Must be the blue jersey
Was not odd that everything he was off the field we scored.
Might take a bit of pressure of Benji as well,
Yep, I would definitely chase Alfie for 2013

I think he'd be a great player to have at the back. Safe as a bank mr reliable, thats what this team desperately needs

Can't see it happening, Playing or not he will be at the Roosters next year. I can see him with the water bottle ala Alfie Langer, getting the young Roosters forward pack fired up. He will be a one club player and he deserves that, after all he has endured and achieved.

We have a fullback for next year…

We already have a very good YOUNG fullback for next season

For those who don't remember his name is James Tedesco and watch his first 30 minutes again

3 Line breaks and close to 100 metres in 30 minutes on DEBUT

What else do some of you blokes want Seriously

I'm not bagging Mini at all , but if we were going to sign him in should of been years ago His back will only hold together for X amount of time

Agree Happy I bet James would have taken those bombs on Friday even on one leg.

I thought the same about Braith Anasta. See it could be worse we could have Brian Smith as our coach.
